  1. Little Tikes has a new one out this year. It looks really cute.
  2. Last year I bought the annoying pound puppy for my ds2. It was a TRU coupon deal. It went to the consignment shop real quick. My mother-in-law got him the furreal kitten for his birthday. He still loves it and carries it around everywhere-its not annoying at all. It purrs, meows and kneads its paws when petted. I'm not sure how much she paid, but the kittens are pretty cheap, so yes I think it was worth it. Good luck!
  3. I got this for my 2 boys about a year ago through Step 2 directly. I believe the price is $99.99 and shipping is $14.99. I received mine super fast and my kids love it. Good luck!
  4. Thanks! For Christmas we exchange books for all the nieces and nephews in the family. Not only did I get a head start on shopping but I got 23 books for $25! What a deal.
  5. Thanks everyone for all your suggestions.:) I haven't looked at JC Penney or Kmart so I'll have to check there for shirts. I'm going to cut up some sheets and embellish on overalls for him. He will be oh so excited. Also thanks so much for the offer dpape, used clothing is about all my kids wear but he's in a 3T, I don't think the 2T will fit, but thats so nice of you to offer. Thanks again.
  6. Hi! I'm looking for Wiggles clothing, shoes, etc. I've found things online but its so expensive. If anyone has found Wiggles merchandise in any stores or if you 've found good deals online I'd really appreciate the help. And so will my 2 year old! Thanks!
  7. Anyone know of any good deals? It seems most jerseys are $75 and up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  8. I'm not sure how much your willing to spend but here are a few deals I've been looking at. TRU has the Little Tikes Inside/Outside kitchen and grill starting Dec 10 for $139.99. You can use the $5 off $25 coupon also. Has sounds. TRU has the cheapest one I've seen at 64.99 last week (reg 74.99) for LT Side by Side kitchen. Not sure about sounds. Walmart.com has a really nice Step 2 Lifestyle Custom Kitchen for 89.00 with shipping its around 102.00 for me. Not as many sounds. Hope this helps. I've been waiting for a really good deal but I don't think its going to happen. Good luck :)
  9. If you have any shopping left, you can buy it at TRU and use the $5 off $25 coupon. It's $19.99 so you'd only need to spend another $5. I've been waiting for it to go on sale somewhere. It's the only thing left to buy for my 4 yr old and he'll be done. I refuse to pay full price. If it doesn't go on sale soon I'm going to use the TRU coupon. I can always find something for $5 :)
  10. Excellent deal! For $21.96, I got Mary Tyler Moore and Bob Newhart for my Mom. She doesn't have cable and loves all those old shows. Thanks for the heads up. I wish 24 was part of the deal too:( !
  11. Dh is a mailman- a good one:) He's gotten baked goods, boxed chocalates, fancy choc covered nuts, GC to local restaurants and fast food places, even Walmart and grocery stores. He's also gotten wine, warm gloves and socks(he's a city carrier and has a walking route hence cold weather items)nice pen, food gift baskets like Hickory Farms, and cash. Mostly cash tho. And we like cash:D
  12. The v.smile is in the 5-11am early bird ad. You're looking at the weekend ad. Go to Walmart.com and the ealry bird ad is up on the website.
  13. Thanks for all the comments. :) I think I'm going with vsmile. Thats the one he wanted, I just wanted to hear what others thought. I don't think the soccer game (Walmart BF) looks too exciting. I wish it had the original game with it. Oh well.
  14. Thanks everyone! I will probably end up ordering online. Anyone know if Kohl's runs shipping discounts BF? Even with shipping the accessories are worth it and I can use my 15% off coupon.
  15. We have the FP Learning House. I bought it last year for Christmas for my then 9 month old. He played with it alot at that age, but its not a toy that really grows with them (in my opinion). I like to get alot of play out of their toys and this wasn't one of them. Its still a really cute toy. Have you thought about a Little Tikes slide? We keep ours in the house. Its the smaller one. TRU sells a Radio Flyer or Step 2 plastic rocking horse. My kids love theirs. Or maybe one of those small ride ons that light up and play music. They come in every character imaginable. If you have lots of space, maybe a ball pit? Hope this helps.
  16. Scrooged with Bill Murray is a forgotten one. I like it. Maybe I'll buy that this year. I also want to get Polar Express for the kiddies.
  17. Same here. Each kid has his own character wrap (whatever their into that year) I get them to bed and usually wrap for a few hours and watch A Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation. Santa usually leaves his stash in those HUGE plastic gift bags. I love to wrap and look at all the bargains I've gotten them. I think I may be crazy but I thinks its relaxing. The only thing I do differently is I now take stuff out of the boxes and remove all those dang twist ties before wrapping so I dont spend Christmas morning cursing and throwing toys in front of the kids LOL! Hubby puts together all the big stuff in the garage Christmas Eve.
  18. I think you missed the Amazon sale. Its listed as dead n this thread. Its regular price w/o free shipping now.
  19. Hmmm maybe I should check out my Kohl's before BF. I would think if one store had them, all would, right? The associate that I talked to said that sometimes online items aren't offered in store. Does anyone know if this is correct?
  20. Are you looking for wooden, take along or motorized? Walmart has a motorized Giant set for $50 BF Target has coupons for a free take along engine if you buy a take along set now I think. As far as wooden, Michaels and AC Moore have 40% off coupons each week that can be used for Thomas stuff. TRU had b2gof off all Thomas wooden and diecast a few weeks ago and they may do that again before Christmas. Hope this helps a little. I have die hard Thomas fans as well. Thomas is sooo expensive:eek:
  21. My husband works alot too and we don't get alot of alone time without the kids. At Christmas the kids get him some small, usually random things (slippers, ties, book, CD) Then sometime after Thanksgiving, we get our parents to watch the kids and we go out Christmas shopping where we pick out something we want, then maybe to a movie and dinner. It's nice because you don't have to shop for them AND you get much better Christmas presents since you pick it out. My husband is not a shopper and would wander around stores and I would end up with stinky candles or a wall clock????? Just a suggestion.
  22. This has nothing to do with baking or crafting, but maybe a massage? Especially since she's pregnant and taking care of a little one. ( you could throw in babysitting as part of the gift) My sisters did this for me when I was pregnant with my first and it was awesome. I live in a smaller suburb and it was $40 for an hour I believe. If there is ever a time to pamper someone its when they're big and pregnant.
  23. I'm debating between the v smile and the original Leapster maybe neither. I want something that has a big controller thats easy to use (the leapster L-max controller would be too complicated I think) This will be his first video game and he just turned 4. If anyone can recommend one or if you have it and hate it, I'd love to know. TIA
  24. One or two presents and stocking from Santa, the rest comes from Mom and Dad.
