My mother and dh went together to get it for my bday (dec. 15th) the first Christmas dh and I had been dating. I put it up every year, and it never ceases to amaze me how beautiful it is. theboyzmom Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 my husband and I each our very favorite ornaments from when we were little, but the MOST special ones we have are the glass candy cane (we tell the story of the candy cane when we hang it), iron nail (to remember what Jesus did for us) and birthday ornament (we celebrate Jesus' birthday) what's really special is we have 3 boys, so they each get to hang one of the special ornaments each year Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
digman6 Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 the ornament frames on our tree. they were my moms she has my kids in them her cat, myself , my dh, and herself and her husband. they both died since then so every year I hang those on our tree still ~ thats the best Xmas decoration I have. The glitter is peeling off now and her wings are held on with a pin. Probably not pretty to anyone but me and my husband. rabx5 Posted November 18, 2006 Share Posted November 18, 2006 My first ornament. My mom bought hot a pink elephant/cupcake ornament for my 1st Christmas. I have had it since I moved out. It's always the first ornament on my tree every year.
