cherry33778 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 I was wondering how many people would camp out this year seeing that the ads aren't so great. I know I am simply bc I want a digital camera from Walmart. Are any of you guys?
cleverbffool Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 What do you mean by camp out? I will go early but i wont leave at 10pm T-giving day.
elena_398 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 No camping out so to speak. I'll leave early but thats it
Bunniq Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 No camping out. At least I don't think arriving around 3am to be camping out. I'll be in a WalMart SuperCenter doing a little shopping unless the main item I want has a crowd around it.
angelicswtnss Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 I won't camp out. I have a super center walmart, so i will get there mid-night or 1am in the morning, and do some shopping while i wait for the big sale to begin.
alimfp Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 No camping out, but I will be leaving early and standing in line for an hour I imagine.
laffnatu Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 So far it looks like I will be camping out with hubby at Best Buy. First timers for camping out and going to BB on BF. Hopefully I won't regret it..lol.
elena_398 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 I'll go early into walmart as I'll price match the Cinderella game and Urban Reign games from TRU (in stock at my Walmart), and then maybe try and get some other items. For the most part, I 'don't really need much in any of the ads
peachysquirt21 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 No camping out for me. I never do anyway. LOL
juskait Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Definitely not camping out. I wanna spend my Thanksgiving night with my family.
Gurnee Al Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Nope. Too cold here, and I just don't want to wait in line that long.
reesiecup27 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 not camping out so to speak but definitely plan to be at the 24 hour walmart at 3 a.m. to scope out where everything is at, luckily the walmart i go to gives you a map of where all the black friday sale items are at
ryleeblack Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I want the $599 laptop at OM. So, I'll camp out. :) I'm a first timer to camping out - I hope things go well.
stiltman Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 After the 48+ hours for the ps3. It will be easy 12 hour camp out for me.
BrandyJervas Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I'll go early but there isn't anything out there worth camping out over
pcsoon Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Not camping, Not going very early this year either. Sears maybe my first stop (so far) and nothing there is worth camping for. I may camp out for the PS3 release this week but that has a profit margin to make it worth my time.

I have never been to OM early but was at staples last yr about 45mins before it opened and was 5th in line. You maybe in for a lonely night. That can be good and bad since you'll be 1st in line but won't have the social interaction that makes the time go by.
sleepyshopper Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I am not camping out for BF, but I am for my PS3
makirley Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Nope - no way! I wouldn't care what was sellling that was Red Hot - I never would!!
magickallight Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 If there was something REALLY GREAT... I would consider it - but thus far... there is NOTHING that would take me from my warm bed any earlier than I am already going to get up!
blessedmamax7 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Not even sure if I will go out this year at all. I am a bit disappointed.

It wouldn't be fun sitting there all alone. I have a friend who will be keeping me company though. I also will bring my video mp3 player and palm pilot for entertainment. I'm in Orange County, CA - so I dunno how busy/popular OM will be. I guess I won't find out until then. Thanks for you input!
Bestbuy7 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 No camping out so to speak. I'll leave early but thats itSame here.
asweepay Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I'm still debating on this. I won't CAMP out, but maybe I'll be there 1 1/2 hours early. Waiting to see what I can get online!
luv2shopnc Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I'm not in the market for any electronics this year so I don't think I will have to camp out this year. I do plan to be at Kohls about an hour early!
