Adamtanderson Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 What do you think of Circuit City's Black Friday ad?
daz Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 very disappointed, I need two of the video cards but for $10 more I can go to BB and not wait for $220 rebates that may or may not ever show up ......
Mike Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I was surprised by the ad to say the least. I was hoping they would come out with something to match the $1600 Toshiba Plasma. That panny is $400 more though. I would also rather pay the extra $80 and get the HP laptop from BB.
Trish1298 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 It had the GBA SP that I was really hoping Walmart had. Yeah!!!
VaderGCP Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Wow. Again, Dissapointment. BB and CC have lots of things that never sell but it still baffles me how they try and shove Click and RV and all those other really bad films down peoples throats. Fry's and Target, I'm looking at you as my last hope for media.
neice0510 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 It had the GBA SP that I was really hoping Walmart had. Yeah!!!ditto
Sacramentum Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I am somewhat disappointed. I always looked forward to their cd's being 9.99.. Hopefully that will still happen.
Gurnee Al Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Some what disappointed. A few great deals, but the rest appear to be a normal Sunday sale.
mcknight_collee Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Dissapointed in the sale. I hate rebates.
magickallight Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I went with somewhat dissappointed, too... just doesn't DO IT for me this year!
IceQueen Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 "most items available Thanksgiving Day at Circuitcity.com" HUH? Does this mean you can buy the stuff online for store pickup or what?
kathnjerry Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 the dlp projector is one of the best discounts. You even get a free screen and subwoofer with mail in rebate.
skidsroe Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 The price on the Olympus Evolt 500 Digital SLR is more on BF than you can get right nowo ff thier web site........ I was hoping for a deal for a spare bosy but I guess I will have to do some more searching.
Ups Tim Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 CC is usually my backup plan. If I can't get something at BB then I head to CC. They are only a block away.
diecastbeatdown Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 i had to go with very dissapointed. was hoping their hdtv sales would win me over, but no.
bayhaysay Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Not that my vote really matters because I don't even have a CC near me but...I hate MIR's! So I voted somewhat dissapointed. :) The price of the GBA SP is pretty nice though. I really wish walmart would've come out with that price.
rockymtnmaria Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 The price on the Olympus Evolt 500 Digital SLR is more on BF than you can get right nowo ff thier web site........ I was hoping for a deal for a spare bosy but I guess I will have to do some more searching. We just purchased the Evolt 500 at Office Max for $620 and it included a free 1 gig memory card! They have it on sale for $700, and with the free card it beats Circuit City's deal. We then applied for a credit card and they gave us 10% off the full, not the discounted, price. I was shocked to see that a couple other places are offering this same camera and lens set for $800 on BF! At first I was thrilled with the advertisement, because there were so many digital cameras. We were wanting a SLR and a tiny one to keep in my purse. Unfortunately lots of their "great deals" are old cameras that aren't even on the market anymore. And I found a better deal on the SLR we had picked out.

Seems like Walmart has the GBA every year for less than $50.
