Guest kathybmb Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I have discovered a couple of great things last year..the bags that you store sports chairs in are excellent for holding quite a few rolls..6 i think i got in there last yr. Also at the dollar store i bought a clear garment bag with intentions of storing the wrapping paper and keeping it hung up..but it gets to heavey to hang. the clear bag though was excellent for storing all the wrapping paper for the winter. it kept it together, and kept it dust free.
comm402 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I use the clear plastic bags that comforters come in to store large bows & gift bags. For wrapping paper I use the clear plastic storage boxes.
Marcster Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 We bought one of those Rubbermaid wrapping paper storage containers after Christmas last year. It does what it's supposed to.

abentley Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 I use the runnermaid wrapping paper storage bags..not the boxes. I love them!!! My dh bought me 4 last year. I saw them at Costco Monday, so I might need a couple more.
blakes_mommy Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 I should use something but it doesn't last that long anyway!
elena_398 Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 I use the Rubbermaid gift wrap storage containers. I also put in my extra tags in there and bows. Works out great
ms_mckenna Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 We have three of the rubbermaid gift wrap containers. One for Christmas one for bdays and one for "other". I have gotten them all over the years on clearance and love them.
Cecilliadb Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 I saw the rubbermaid wrapper containers ast Costco, will be getting some of those this year and one for a friend that needs it.
oldjeans Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 I got a really great under the bed storage bag with inside dividers and handles on the outside as a GWP from Current Catalog last year right around mid Nov. last year made specifically for this. It zips around and keeps everything clean and organized. They will probably run another one soon.
Trish1298 Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 I ususally don't have enough left over paper to have to have a container specially for paper. But this year I'm stocking up after xmas, so I am going to have to get something.
heavenlysshine Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I stocked up on paper after Christmas last year and I also picked one of those wrapping paper containers from Target at the same time. Works like a charm!
sleepyshopper Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I use alot of the storage containers made to hold wrapping paper...I think they are made by Rubbermaid.

Adamtanderson Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 It used to drive me nuts when I was growing up that my Mother would save all the bows and gift boxes.
able Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 i stand mine up in the corner of a closet(and i HATE storing anything in a corner!)so i might get one of these bins discussed
JustJules Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 I have used a tall trash can (4 outside silver?), with lid. I put wheels on the bottom, then Drilled a hole on both sides put a carrying/pull (rope) handle on it. I use it all year long, as I use the other gift wrap all year long. I have the ribbons, tape, to & from tags & markers in a rubbermaid cont w/handle that sits inside. I thought since it is going to be in my craft room, it needs to be fancy looking too. So I painted the outside with many wild & crazy colors. It is in the corner of the closet. No doors any more on the closet. Had all of these things already here. That trash can was just taking up space in the basement.
