lar0713 Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Well it depends if I'm alone or with my GF - sometimes its home by noon and others its home by dinner time. Tradition in our house is I go shopping and DD and DH go out to the movies together but now that she is in college I don't know if her and Dad will do their traditional thing but, I will definately be out shopping atleast until all the early bird hours are over.
sevirj Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 I only spent 2 or 3 hours last year. Who knows, depending on the deals and where they are, I might spend all day out in the rush!
g-man430 Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 It depends. Two years ago it was 6-8 hours, while last year it was 2-3 hours.
ajforeveryoung Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Last year we went to Walmart @ 1:00 am. But the good thing was that we were done by 11:00 a.m. and got everything we wanted!!!! We even had time to wrap some gifts before the kids came home from grandmas!!!
sycha Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 I know that it's dark when I leave the house and it's dark when I return, and my trunk and back seat are usually full. The rest of the day is usually a blue
Guest JeepMom Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 I goofed, I put how many actually shopping, not how many I am away from home!
Adamtanderson Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 I try to be in and out as quickly as possible. Go for the door buster at one store and maby a few more items and get out go home and go to sleep.
mdal Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Usually 12-14 hours. It is my favorite shopping day!
krissy72 Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 I leave the house at about 3:30am, by the time I pick up my shopping partner and get to the first store it is about 5:00am. I am ready for a nap by 10:00am.
amez74 Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 6-8 hours. we usually go home and drop stuff off, refuel and go out again for more fun. Sometimes dh will go the second time--he is more the impulse shopper. Once he sees what I've bought or sil has gotten he wants it or thinks we should have gotten more lol. I've told him this year he should just come with us in the first place. Amy
Bunniq Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Not including waiting for the first store to open. I spend about 3 hours out.
cleverbffool Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 It varies last year I was out from 2am-4pm then decorated the entire house, but the year before that I was out 2 hrs.
Netter40 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 My cousin and I leave my house around 4:30am and go to walmart and wait in line until they open. We usually don't get home until after all the stores close. Last year we got home around 10ish. It's a day we look forward to every year. It's a big rush. Really enjoy it
onedumbdude Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Voted 2 to 4 hours. I always keep an eye out for good deals all year. So,I dont have too much to buy at BF. Plus, I do a lot of my BF shopping online.
lovebears65 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 I put 6-8 hours but that does not include the time I wait in line before the stores open
