Bigbroad55 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 They Don't Think I Am Nuts They KNOW I Am NUTS.. This year I am bringing my dad, he is going to get one of those little buggy things and wait online for me. So if I have to run around the store I can. After we will go for breakfast.
Care Bear Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 My dad thinks me and my mom are crazy for participating in Black Friday. I think that he thinks it's crazy for people to get up really early in the morning to shop, lol.
Trish1298 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 My family is into it, there are 6 or 7 of us that all go together. We like the sport of it, look forward to it all year. However I have just moved to Florida about 1000 miles away from my family, so I go alone now. My husbands family thinks I'm crazy. They just don't enjoy the things like I do.
migirlfriday Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Yes, my family, my friends and my co-workers. But I don't care as I will be the one getting the great deals!
PeachieKeen Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 My roommate was really convinced that I was completely insane for getting up so early to go shopping. Now that I have pointed out several BF sales on items she is looking to buy she's gonna get up early too!!
mystikal1 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 My wife thinks I am nuts but she said maybe we should go and do a recon of BB so we know where everything is at
vonnyb Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Nope everybody is calling me know asking who's having the best deals on computers and LCD TV's and whatever else. I tell them to log into gottadeal and they can see for themselves, but theys say they would rather just ask me:g_shrug:
arrowpolisher Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 My sisters and mother usually go. My husband will go with me as long as I don't make him go to Wal-Mart. I usually take my ds 18 with me( he loves it as much as I do) to Wal-Mart and any other stores like that, then take him home to watch the rest of the dc while hubby and I hit the smaller less busy ones and then njoy a breakfast out.
koalamom Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 My MIL thinks I'm crazy, but that's OK. My Mom usually goes with and my sister will go sometimes. I have got up and went alone, shopped, came home and no one was even awake yet. I was thinking about going to a Best Buy that is 2 hours away and my DH said he would drive me but that he is NOT going in the store.
JChui Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 i got my sister hooked on it, my mom thoughts i was nuts for doing it, so i dragged her along last year and she said it was a fun and interesting experience but she doesn't want to it again, (she hated the crowds). My uncle remains baffled on it, in his words, "I don't know why you're waking up real early to give all your money to these people." Still black friday gets me pumped up for the hoildays.
