Does your family/friends think you are *nuts* for shopping on BF?

At Thanksgiving dinner, my SO's brother thought we had lost our mind. His exact phrase was "you are totally bonkers". He couldn't understand why anyone would wait in line to buy anything... until Xmas day when I announced that most of the gifts his family received were purchased on BF.

We haven't converted them yet to BF shopping, but we're working on it :)

My wife used to think I was nuts, but she's gone with me for the past two years.

But, I'd NEVER get her into a "first tier" store like Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. And about an hour is the most she'll "camp out" for...

But, that's pretty close to my limits too, so it's OK.

Most of my family/friends appreciates me sending 'em the ads early, however they think I'm outta my mind wanting to wait in line the night before. They thought I was 'bonkers' when I told 'em I waited in line for 5 hours at Wal-Mart last year. My response? I'm the one with the cheap laptop, not them!

Most of my family shakes their head in bewilderment when they find out I started my BF shopping at 11 pm the night of Thanksgiving and finished a bit after noon on the following day . . . then they curse me for all the deals I got that they didn't. :D

I gotta admit, we're all nuts for wanting to wait in lines overnite in freezing cold weather. But we're also the ones who are gonna be gettin' those deals. :yup: What's really nuts is coming to the stores after they open and expecting those big sale items to still be there.

Same here able! We spend that Thursday looking over the ads, planning what stores to be at at what times, etc. Its a family tradition here! Our little caravan includes me, my sister, my mom, my aunt, my grandma :) We all head out and meet up around 4am, in line by 4:30. Of course, with thoise times we dont hit the "big" places until last, but so far they havent had anything i needed. My family has already started asking when ads will be coming in this year!

ETA: all the husbands (including my own) think we are totally insane.
