kjunea Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 One of my fav black friday stores always had a cracker jack promo on BF. They put discounts/prizes in the packages and the rest was breakfast! Worked for me! I would actually go in the mall door and the outside door and get 2! But now I've moved to Nashville and the store was sold and is now a Belk's so I don't know if they will do it again.
Turtle Mommy Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I grabbed a frozen gogert and some juice last year. I will most likely do the same I will also add a diet Mt. Dew for later! :)
*Jami* Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 We stop at BK on our way out of town. Must eat in the car though!
Firemansgal311 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 When I was younger, it was THE place to go after a late night of clubbing. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Music/club.gifSince I stopped going to clubs, I've also stopped going to Denny's.In the south the go to spot is the Waffle House..mmmm
cactusmom Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I usually just head home for leftover turkey, this year I think I am hitting Cracker Barrel yummmmmm!
colelane2001 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 What time does Cracker Barrell open?Cracker Barrell normally opens at 6:00AM. They don't have anything on wether or not they will open any earlier for BF.
djinniman Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Hello all, first time poster. Our tradition is pretty simple. We hook up with some friends at around 4:00 AM at a convenience store, stocking up on coffee/drinks/breakfast sandwich. We hit two or three popular stores like Walmart and Toysrus, then we head to an IHOP to recover. After that, we hit places like K-mart, Big Lots, EBGames, and others. We usually have a ton of fun and get some good deals too!
teresa92 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Last year our area didn't have a doorbuster sale for BB and WM is open 24 hours, so no camping out needed. We went to Denny's at 3am and ate breakfast while going over the ads and getting our coffee fix. After hitting the stores that morning, we ate lunch around 1pm at a mexican restaurant before heading home. We also kept snacks in the van to munch on between stores.
tootsieroll23 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I am not much of a fan of Ryan's, but DH and I meet up last year when we were finished shopping and had breakfast there. They have a hugh breakfast buffet. Anything you can imagine is on it. So I think we have started a new tradition with this. Usually we would just get a Mickey D breakfast sandwich.
amani Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Mom always tell us to eat something before we leave the house because we are not stopping unless you have to go...... But some how I manage to squeeze McDonalds out of her
JazzMama Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I usually eat a granola bar in the car on the way there so I'm not completely famished when I start shopping. It just depends on how tired I am after as to if I stop at a drive-through or just head home.
pkripper001 Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 what time does Sam's Club start the good free breakfast?
Cecilliadb Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 Eggo's, scrambled eggs and orange juice.
jellybean051901 Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 By the time I worry about eating it is lunch time. I have very important shopping to do which cannot be interupted by frivilous things like eating. Shopping is usually followed by a nap then eating.
stationchief Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 In the south the go to spot is the Waffle House..mmmm Yeah, we got those here and there across Phoenix as well. Seems to be a tad cheaper than Denny's, just that I don't like how much ours seems to attract the late-nite 'hell's angels' bikers an all the local 'hobos'. I prefer a much nicer and enjoyable environment to savin' a buck or two.
BabyFu18 Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 I usually grad a yogurt smoothie while I'm getting ready, and eat a muffin or bagel in the car on my way to my first stop. It's always something I take with me, cause I'm not going to waste time sitting around eating breakfast when I could just eat it in the car or even in line at my first store.
able Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 i wonder if anyone will make the omlet in a bag..
bigjimslade Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 For me it will be free breakfast at Best Buy since i am using the personal shopping service.
Bestbuy7 Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 left over cold turkey while I am running to the car!LMAO :rotflol: I can just imagine.
Bestbuy7 Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 A cup of tea and thats it. All my mind is on getting the stuff i really really want.
Daisimae Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 I carry snacks in my bag to have while I am waiting in line. For breakfast I bring snack cakes, a la Hostess, or Drake's to eat around 3am, then I pack everything back into the car. Staples and CC begin to bring out the hot item tickets at 4am and they serve DD coffee while they are doing it. So then I'm all set. I keep a bottled water with me, just in case, I get bogged down in a line inside, but that rarely happens.
cherry33778 Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 I bring crackers to eat while I'm waiting in line, it helps hold fluids so you wont have to go to the bathroom as much.
holly2hottie Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 We will have snacks in the car but won't eat a real meal untill lunch, when most of the shopping is done.
Gporter34 Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 We always go to Denny's after our last store and then home to wrap presents and take a long nap!LOL
gisellerol Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 For me it will be free breakfast at Best Buy since i am using the personal shopping service.me to
cinnamon16201 Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Don't eat or drink anything. That way I don't have to stop and go potty! Seriously, probably grab some granola bars on our way out the door. Maybe some hot chocolate if it's as cold as it was last year!!
conehead433 Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 We stop at Krispy Kreme... buy a couple dozen and munch between stores...I was at a Circuit City several years ago before they opened, and they had fresh Krispy Kreme donuts. Yum, maybe not better for you than a real breakfast, but hard to beat.
copados1993 Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 coffee..coffee and even more coffee LOL!!!!!
justjessie99 Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 We always go thru the Dunkin Dounuts drive thru and get coffees or Hot cocos....we hit the "timed" stores (5-11am), then we get breakfast at Denny's. Then we hit some more stores!!
