Has anyone considered starting their own gift wrapping service?

You could really make some $$$ on BF and just before Christmas.

How would you let someone know the services are available, and what would you charge?

I seriously could use the income.

Good question and where would you setup shop? If it's inside the mall or store you their permission and possibly a business license.

I actually do Christmas shopping an wrapping for people, I started with a relative who asked me, and from there it's been word of mouth. I also do cleaning, so I'm getting ready to advertise in the paper, that I will do cleaning, and that I'm also available for Christmas shopping and wrapping, and errands. Just run an ad!

I usually rest then wrap anything that is a BIG item for the kids. As far as the rest of it I leave it bagged till I am completely done. If not I forget what I bought and I can't compare to make sure they are getting the same amount. ;

) I did try a master list once but they found it.

We put our stuff on layaway at Walmart, and wait until the last minute to get it off due to 3 kids (nosy nosy kids LOL). Then I always wrap them right away and hide them in a huge box :D

Every year I swear I'm going to wrap them on BF when I get home. And every year, I'm up early Christmas morning, wrapping just the ones that need to go under the tree NOW! I'm a bad wrapping planner.

i wrap within a day or 2 of purchases unless my husband is unhappy with something i bought then i wait until i have persuaded him i was right and then wrap it ! ;)

I always start wrapping on BF when I get home. We have our tree up usually so they get wrapped & put under the tree. I love to wrap presents. Except for those odd shape ones. I usually put those in gift bags. LOL

The only problem with the mall is that all of them around me already have gift wrapping service

I get my husband to take the kids out for the day, set up my wrapping in the family room and watch my corny Christmas movies while wrapping gifts. You know the ones, Christmas Vacation,The Christmas Story, etc...

I'm usually up until 3am Christmas morning, watching movies and wrapping as quietly as possible. I also set up the kids' trees (they each have a small tabletop tree and get a new ornament each year) at that time so they don't get after the ornaments. Makes for a great surprise when they wake up.

The kids and I usually try to wrap some of them after I return home on BF....What doesn't get done that day and their presents usually don't end up getting wrapped until days or sometimes even hours before Christmas....LOL!!

I've already bought 75% of my kids christmas gifts. If I had christmas tags, I'd get it out of the way now. Everything is hidden in my garage shelves and in 2 huge contractor bags. Too easy for nosey kids to peek into
