shopping mom Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 I usually research the toys or products I buy for Christmas. Especially the toys. I like the parent reviews provided by most of the sites. Does anyone else do this? I have not found any reviews yet on Fisher Prices new "FP3" player but I really like the looks of it and I think my three year old would love it.
Melissa Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Yes, I always read the reviews on Amazon, Toys R Us and Target.

elena_398 Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 I always read customer reviews. It gives me an idea on what the toy is like.
jskarp Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 absolutely................ has saved many a heartache :)
shaneslove Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 my husband always asks me " so did you research this one too??" and I always answer " well ofcource"
kc82769 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I research everything. Saved alot of returns that way:)
love2beurwifey Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Yes I do whenever buying something for my nieces and nephews I want to make sure its worth it.
Turtle Mommy Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I do, especially if I dont know anything about the toy.
Spotted1 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I do, but I don't always pay attention to what they say. Last year I was looking for a small tabletop easel for my DD (who was 1 at the time) .. the one I bought her had horrible reviews. Mostly how it was too small and flimsy, etc. But a year later, it's still in great shape and she still uses it daily.
Gloey Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I do and it tends to influence me...especially the one about Floam!
f1rstclass Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I started to, but then discovered that I need to see the product in order to determine if it was going to work or not and be the right kind of toy.
jeninpa Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 I also do my "research",lol. I thought the new FP3 looked interesting as well. I would consider it only if it went on sale because I'd rather buy him a $14 MP3 player than pay $60 for this thing, lol. Atleast I would get as mad when he breaks it....inevitable with this child!!
copados1993 Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 I research as much info as i can when it comes to my kids toys. better to be safe then sorry.
