AndreaInNC Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 My DD best friend is so po'd that she already has tickets .. bwuahaha .. thanks to the OP for this great find!
mrn8 Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 I just talked to a guy yesterday that buys 5 floor seats each year. They take one other couple and he leaves the one seat next to him open so that he doesn't get crowded in by someone during the whole show. I don't think that would be worth the $50 to me.
AndreaInNC Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Well tickets for the concert in my town go on sale tomorrow morning. But I have already bought mine !!!!! yipee!!! My DD best friend is so po'd at her for getting 5th row floor seats .. thanks to the OP again for this thread!
Gator Pam Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 I received my tickets for the Jacksonville show earlier this week! And, I found a good size seating chart of the Jacksonville Arena. We are front center section, seven rows back. Woo-hoo!!!
AndreaInNC Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Anyone go this weekend? Would love a report back as I have never seen them before. thanks!
g-man430 Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 They're in Greenville, SC tonight. This is the city I live in. :) Unfortunately i'm not going though.
heavenlysshine Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 I just found out about this...and they are in my city TONIGHT!
BunniesBunniesBunnies! Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 I didn't even know about this until tonight, and now I'm going next Tuesday. THIS LOOKS AWESOME!
AndreaInNC Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 lol - me too .. I have to wait until Dec 14th .. but I'll be in full swing holiday mode by then.
Great Dane Mom Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 My parents get to see them this Thursday night. I'll have to call my mom Friday and let everyone know how the show was. They will be seeing it in Fort Wayne, IN. My show is on December 27. I am so excited!

We are front center section, seven rows back. Woo-hoo!!!Awesome seats! I was excited to get ours 5 rows back this year. I've never even been in the front section before. I'm glad they come to our area at the end of their tour. I don't know how much I'd enjoy seeing them before Thanksgiving.
Gator Pam Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Due to the cook-off I competed in, I've been AFK since Saturday. We saw TSO at the Jacksonville show Sunday night. Absolutely awesome! However, I understand there are two touring groups, and I believe I've now seen both. I don't know if the show we saw last year was slightly better because it was a different group, because it was the week before Chr-stmas, because it was at Madison Square Garden (their home city), or because it was the first time we ever saw them. But, we do feel last year's performance was slightly better, both in the band members performance and in the male and female vocalists. We also enjoyed the narrator last year better. But, I am not saying this group wasn't up to snuff, and the light show and pyrotechnics were incredible. Apparently this was the first time they ever played in Jacksonville, and I think maybe 10% of the audience had seen them before. So, most of the audience had never seen them before, and the band had to really work the crowd in the beginning. But, after a pause in a guitar solo, when I screamed out "Play It!" which garnered a look in my direction, the audience loosened up quite a bit and we had fun. I was looking forward to being snowed on, since we were down front, but only one side worked, and it wasn't my side of the center aisle.
Great Dane Mom Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 My parents saw them last night in Fort Wayne, IN. They said it was amazing! My dad didn't know what to expect and he was totally blown away by them. I was able to snag them 2nd row center seats. My dad said he sat beside a man who sees them quite often and filled my dad in. This was my Christmas present to them and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Hooray!
BunniesBunniesBunnies! Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 So would you guys recommend trying to get seats in a more elevated area so you can see the whole stage? Or is closeup good too? I have a chance to get a pair of front row on eBay right now so I need to decide!
Gator Pam Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Front row would be awesome, as they really appear to play to the audience they can see. But, Paul and I decided we would like to be back to about row 25 or so next time.
Great Dane Mom Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Oh, I forgot to mention that at the end of the show one of the guys on stage gave his guitar to someone in the audience. They were also tossing guitar picks. My dad caught one.
AndreaInNC Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 How long does the show last? Got the email that my tickets were mailed last week! yipee!
lucyismycat Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I'm going to see them this coming Friday for the first time, 5th row, a little to the right. I'm so excited, can't wait!

They were also tossing guitar picks. My dad caught one. A young boy, about 10 years old, got the guitar at our show. We were behind him in the line to meet and greet after the show. So kewl that they do that!
BunniesBunniesBunnies! Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Just got back from the show and I must say.. HOLY CRAP! AMAZING SHOW! A little sleepy now.. but I think I got some pretty good videos and I'll upload them tommorow and post them if anyone wants to see.
clevelandrocksandrolls Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 I love TSO-The show is Dec 8th this year (Boise, ID)-HOORAY!! It always puts me in the Christmas Spirit! Those girls have some voices! WOW! A few years back, it was after Christmas:( but hey TSO is TSO, right?
