Heads up for everyone who may be interested. The Trans Siberian Orchestra is touring yet again, presale begins on Tuesday if you signed up for the fanclub and received links to it (though I believe you might be able to buy from their webpage) and then public sale on Friday.

 

If anyone hasn't seen them, think lasers, lights, fireballs, wailing guitars :guitarist:gdrockf:, and Christmas music :hert::dazzler::singer:

Thanks for the heads up on this. I just went in and joined the fan club.

 

I can't believe they are going to be in Worcester. That is so great! The DCU Center is 10 miles or less from my house. Woo Hoo! We've always wanted to see them.

Yeah I dunno if joining this late will help, hopefully. I *think* you can get to the presale just by going to the tour page, but not 100% sure (though have the page loaded early--it crumbled last year under the load). Even so, you should still be able to get pretty good seats.

 

I like the *really* good seats though, we saw them at the Detroit Opera House in 2002 and have since been around row 10, center section at the Palace of Auburn Hills :D

 

Last year we bought a bunch of tickets, I believe 13 for ourselves (we bring guests every year) and my wife's brother bought 9.

 

Planning on just buying 7 this year.

Yeah I had to do a search for it...I never should've put Christmas in the title.

Now half the people in the Lounge will probably never see it. Just what I was aiming for by posting it there :g_shrug:

(and, I mean it too, you are going to LOVE the show)

 

 

 

now on to my regularly scheduled rant:

I didn't get any. Canceled both orders. Gave me a 13 minute wait on the first though I was literally sitting there hammering F5, 2nd computer fell victim to their overloaded 486 running Win95 on a dialup line, reset the connection, by the time I got through that wait was 25 minutes.

 

Both tried putting me up in the lower bowl, screw that jazz, I'm here for the floor seats dead center!

 

Clearchannel is *TERRIBLE*, TSO really needs to switch to Ticketmaster next year.

 

Going to wait and hit the ticket resellers later.

I can't make out the section numbers on the floor of the Jacksonville Arena, but I think I'm front center section, 7th row, right off an aisle. It says section F2, row 7, seats 1 & 2.

 

psiu helped convince me to talk to Paul about getting tickets at MSG while we were visiting MIL last year. I know a Jacksonville, FL show won't compare to seeing them play in their home city. But, we had to leave early to catch the bus home, and I am looking forward to seeing a whole show this time.
