SuperMommy
What about a sticky (or something to that effect) on directions for uploading pics onto a post (including how to do attachments)? I'm having a little trouble with it. Plus, I know it's a question that I've seen asked on here many times. Just a thought?

SuperMommy
Well, I've got a few on photobucket, but when I tried putting one of the pics in a post it turned out huge! Plus, I've heard some people now saying not to go with photobucket. So, I'm not sure if I should stick with it or not.
Rebirth
imageshack.us, allows you to resize your pictures. Go to their size, check the "resize image" box, select 640x380 (for message boards). Copy the link from your picture. When you're posting on GD. Above the post box, you'll see a tool bar. Just click on the picture box, then paste your link. Press okay, then you're done. But like I said it was huge. Being able to resize it would be great. Is imageshack.us free?

jeninpa
On photobucket all you have to do is click edit above the pic you want to resize and it's the 2nd option down. I usually pick the resize 50% option then just preview your post & refresh it. You'll see the current size. You can then make it smaller yet if need be by clicking edit again and this time I'd go with 75% at a time. Just repeat until it is a nice size. I've had photobucket for well over a yr and love it. Never had one problem with it. HTH!

Firemansgal311
Photobucket now has a resize option that says for avatars, thumbnail, website/email. That makes it a heck of alot easier to resize the pics.
alimfp
Picasa is a very nice yet basic image tool you can download for free. I too recommend Photobucket for hosting the pictures.

bovichtj
Thanks for these tips... I had to search it out and find help :) Photobucket was VERY easy to use, esp. with the re-sizing thing and the codes they created for the images... Couldn't have done it myself :) Joanne
