Discounted Magic Your Way Tickets?

Recommended Posts

Sign up for the mousesavers.com newsletter, like fairydustcrissy said. The 15th of every month there is a newsletter sent out, and it almost always includes special discounts on the tickets available at at least 2 major Disney ticket resellers. Of course, you'll really only see savings if you're going 3 days or more. When are you planning on travelling?

We won't be going there until October, 2007 but I wanted to buy the tickets this year and pay for the no expiration option because I know the prices will be going up on Jan 1. We will be buying 7 day tickets for 5 adults.

Yeah, the prices just increased again recently.

Just sign up for the mousesavers newsletter and on Sept. 15th there should be special links to the 2 ticket brokers where you can save some more on them. If you check the site, they have either hotel or vacation package discounts listed on there for 2007.

We will be going for 7 days. There will be 5 adults and one child under 3.

If I remember correctly, the child will be free. Also, Have you looked into Universal studios? It is a totally different experience, geared more for teens & adults, but they have some AWESOME deals online. Like Buy one two-day ticket, get 3 days free, as well as a free child admission. Thats one adult & one chold for 200.00, for FIVE DAYS!! We did that last itme as well. We didnt use the entire 5 days, but the extra days we went didnt cost us a penny!

You also get both parks with the ticket. They're running that special right now, the buy 4 get 1 free (Mastercard), and a $75 2-day/2-park adult pass with the extra days, but I think most of them expire at the end of the year. They had the B4G1 last year when we went as well, so that one may be on-going. Anyway, even a young child will have a good time at Universal. Last year, my nieces were 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 and they both had a blast at both Universal parks.

(Actually the 2-day/2-park w/ free child - 3-9 - plus 3 extra days is $99 + tax, so it would not be $200 for an adult and child)

Disney doesn't really discount anything unless you are a Florida resident. You might be able to pick up passes on Ebay.

I would not suggest buying tickets on Ebay. Disney now uses biometrics to attach the ticket to a certain person and this makes it impossible to transfer, plus there is no way to determine how many days are left on the ticket without scanning it.

I agree with the Mousesavers news letter. I bought tickets this way last year and got a pretty good discount on them. Remember the more days on the ticket the less it cost per day. 7 day tickets were only a few dollars more than 5 day tickets when I bought them last year. Also, another good thing about watching Mousesavers is the notices about packages and discounted rooms that are put up almost instantly after they are annouced.
