DaveSimmons
That is a sweet deal for a non-gaming laptop. The Pentium M runs cool but fast, and 1 GB RAM will give great performance for Office, photo editing, etc. including faster switching between tasks. It also has built-in wifi, enough disk space to keep your music collection on it with plenty of room for applications. The only thing I'd recommend adding is the extra $10 for recovery CDs. sde219
How does the E1505 compare to the E1405? They were the same price during this promotion. The E1505 has a larger screen but some add-ons were more expensive on it. I ordered the 1405 on Sat but I still have time to cancel and get the 1505. Any advice? RossMAN
sde219, The LCD display is something I would not skimp on, IMHO it's one of the most critical components. That being said I would cancel your E1405 order and order an E1505 with SXGA+ display.

DaveSimmons
Last day, and a good laptop deal if you want a (big!) 17" screen. Add the Radeon X1400 for $99 if you want to play any games. Or the geforce 7900 for $299 to play at much higher resolution and with more visual effects / "eye candy" If you want a smaller screen, look at the Inspiron coupon lower on the GD main page and get an E1505 instead.
