After shopping, we go get my mom, and our kids that don't shop with us, and we go eat at Denny's. I'm going to miss my grand slam breakfast this year . I would wait until I got home to eat because there is nothing like Thanksgiving leftovers for breakfast. I would get a hearty breakfast and then crash, lol. If I just want something warm for the line my go to is the Carmel Apple Spice at starbucks. It is the only thing I usually get from there. We would stop and get a hot chocolate at am/pm before heading to wm. In the past, we would go to Denny's to have breakfast and get a hot chocolate-to-go to take with us to wait in line at wm. lucyismycat Posted October 27, 2020 Share Posted October 27, 2020 DM and I hit Starbucks early on in the evening, and then around midnight, hit Sonic before heading to the other side of town to finish up shopping. Milkshakes to go are a good pick-me-up by that point. And Sonic is maybe the best people watching opportunity we have. Last year we saw a lady get into a fight with the manager over how long she had been waiting (not longer than us, for sure). The cops were called and everything! For those of us that are pretty boring otherwise, it was an exciting night! LOL This year, who knows? Our governor may shut down indoor dining by then, so we will just hit a drive thru if we can find one. Most of the stores we normally go to are closed on Thanksgiving, so I may just shop online this year and try to forget 2020 altogether. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
