Starting the sale in-store only for 3 days seems to go against what everyone else is doing (putting stuff online the same day or earlier than in-store). When you do that you’re basically encouraging people to come to your stores. I’ve never been to B&BW during BF though so I have no idea what kind of crowds that would lead to.

Genius, right?  I think they played the situation perfectly.  High road on turkey day, get traffic in the store when most are at work, and finish up with an old fashioned black Friday sale.

Bath & Body Works is one of those stores where you need to shop in-store to take full advantage of the discounts. You are limited to one discount code online when they generally send their coupons in groups of 3. Also, they are very stingy with free shipping and often you have to choose between free shipping or a discount.

One of their big sellers this time of year are the three wick candles which they put on sale on Candle Day. Well the price has been steadily creeping up the past few years; last year they were $9.50. They’ve been running buy 1 get 1 free on the candles at least once a month recently; pair that with a coupon and you are just about at the candle day price depending on your sales tax. I know you can use a coupon on top of the candle day sale too but the store is a madhouse so I have been buying 4-6 each BOGO sale. I haven’t purchased that tote they sale in years.

The one at the mall I usually go to is almost always jam packed on BF. But that could be because it’s a big, busy mall, so idk what standalone stores are like. Seems irresponsible to me tbh.

Yep, If you are able to stack the coupons you will make a killing.

Yes, my mall has a line down the hallway.

I agree. I just purchased some this weekend and with coupon I paid $9.80 for each. I love Candle Day just don’t know if I want to do the crowds.

Wonder if the BF box will be similar in cost to the bags in the past.  Interesting to see how they change it up this year that's for sure.

Sounds cool. Our store has a line and they only let so many in. Maybe they will offer a free shipping deal. I'll wait and see what the box looks like, could be interesting.

I have been so busy I have not even thought about the sales days. I usually get a candle to go in the teacher gifts we send every year.

Was it an online survey ?

Yes, I got an email asking me to do a survey in exchange for the discount. Now I'm looking for the email and I can't find it. Now I'm thinking it might have been in the app. I get the coupon in my wallet by 11/03.

Got the digital coupon last week and my paper coupons yesterday. Of course they keep having a different sale everyday. I did buy some online exclusives the other day. Everything was $6.50 and free shipping with $50 order. Better than paying shipping, especially since some of it was only available online. Saving my rewards for when the box comes out. Should have 3 plus the paper coupon for a free item. One sure thing I am looking forward to.

Has anyone seen and been able to open the link to the sneak preview of the new box in the bath & body works app?

This? Not sure if this is what you mean, but when I click it, this is what happens. [emoji4]post-193973-16049684080901_thumb.jpeg

No and I havnt even got coupons or anything in the mail for this yet.

Is there another app besides the My Bath & Body rewards one?

When I try to sign up for that, it says it’s unavailable in my area.

I used a different zip code for a bigger city and it worked. I’ve had the app for awhile. I’ve gotten several free coupons on their for free gifts from the app.

hmmmm.....will look into app didn't know that was a thing. I think somehow my mother signed up for mail coupons and maybe mine got discontinued. Do they usually offer Free Shipping on Thanksgiving or BF? Stores have been ridiculous with lines lately anyhow can't imagine BF.
