jesusluvu Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 I can say that all decorations was completed yesterday. 1
budgetsRsexy Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 I’d like to get the tree out and fluffed this weekend at the very least. My goal is to have all the decorating done by the end of next weekend at the latest but we’ll see how that goes.
bluebear Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 The decorations will get pulled out this evening or tomorrow morning. I hope to be decorated by the end of the weekend.I wasnt necessarily opposed to getting decorations up earlier this week, I just didn't really have the time. And Thanksgiving weekend is the normal time for us, so that is okay with me .
angelfallenhere Posted November 29, 2019 Posted November 29, 2019 Well our outside display takes over a month to doAlways on by thanksgiving this year was the night beforeInside will be done by Sunday
angelbabymommy Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 We’re putting our tree up today (although it won’t be decorated until tomorrow when my oldest daughter comes home). I have a few decorations to put around the house and door that will be done today.
magickallight Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 I think other than a few touches here and there I AM DONE! Had to totally alter my standard way of decorating and go "KID FRIENDLY" decorating this year do to some VERY Hyper-active grand-kids! 1
rockpzazz Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 I haven't really started decorating yet, but have a couple items out. I'll probably get the rest of the stuff out this week. Usually I do it the week after Thanksgiving, so nothing has really changed this year.
cinnamon16201 Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 I'm thinking I won't even put up a tree this year, which is a shame as I have a ton of ornaments. We will be going to our daughter's in NY (6.5 hour drive) for the holiday, probably 5-6 days. We have no other relatives to visit, so no one else will see it. I have had health problems this year with a major surgery the beginning of October, so I guess the recovery has taken a lot out of me. We will probably put up the outside lights so we don't look like Scrooge. I spend so many years doing it all myself that it just lost it's appeal. At least we have a new granddaughter so maybe that will give me the Christmas Spirit back. 1
stevierocks Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 i am so far behind.. i didnt even decorate like i normally do.. not even plugging in outside lighte that are in a tree so high i leave them up all year .,,. and inside i now have a tree set with no decorations.. and christmas cards around door frame are the only decor in my room( a room i normally go all out decorating ) not even worth setting up at this point. only throwing something on the tree. and then wrapping..
budgetsRsexy Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 I’m super behind and there is no way I’m going to catch up at this point. I’m going to have to just be ok with cutting out all decorations except the tree (for me it’s not Christmas without the tree). The tree itself is up and my goal is to get at least one box of ornaments hung by tomorrow night.i am so far behind.. i didnt even decorate like i normally do.. not even plugging in outside lighte that are in a tree so high i leave them up all year .,,. and inside i now have a tree set with no decorations.. and christmas cards around door frame are the only decor in my room( a room i normally go all out decorating ) not even worth setting up at this point. only throwing something on the tree. and then wrapping..Hang in there, you are not alone. We can do this. Keep us posted on how things go.
budgetsRsexy Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 I finally got the tree decorated yesterday with the help of my husband and my mom. The tree is the only decoration I’m going to do and that’s enough for this year 1
Reinholt1 Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 I finally got the tree decorated yesterday with the help of my husband and my mom. The tree is the only decoration I’m going to do and that’s enough for this year Good job! And you are doing better than I this year! I gave up on putting up a tree this year. Just tell folks you are being traditional. Many never put up a tree until Christmas eve and it stayed up for 12 days of Christmas celebration. It's only in our modern day commercialism that we started decorating the day after halloween. Enjoy you family and your tree! Merry Christmas!
