Danascraps Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 We always stop of Michaels first, on the way home from dinner. It's a tradition, as Michaels was one of the first to be open on Thanksgiving... Then home to get ready, then depending on the ads maybe Walmart? Still to be determined.
TazErase Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Been first in line at Best Buy nearly every year. In fact, the employees know me as "number 1" every time they see me throughout the year. Don't know what the Best Buy ad is yet, nor do I really care. I will be first at Best Buy AGAIN. 1
starbeck96 Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 It is always Walmart first. Then, it just depends on the ads and what is needed.
jesusluvu Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Well with the ads so far BB is at top. They have TV and electronics that I need
Bopeep Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Well, having seen Walmart's ad, my vote just might be for Target first this year. The things I might want from Walmart aren't at all likely to sell out.
Giraffe34 Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 For the first time, Walmart will NOT be my first choice. It will be Target for me this year.
HanShotFirst Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 will be Walmart unless I can order the iPad and Bissell carpet cleaner online in the early AM. If I can get these online then Target it is unless I catch the Echo Dots on Amazon at the same price. Hopefully I can manage that as well.
angelbabymommy Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 I usually wait for all the ads, but this year it looks like my one and only stop will be at the outlets in PA. I haven’t seen much in the ads that I need/want and I’ve been pretty much ordering online.
spinytail Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Lately we've been lucky to get everything online. But will still hit Target, WalMart and Best Buy just to see what movies might be left over after the mad rush hits. Also starting a tradition of stopping by Bass Pro Shop on Thanksgiving with our toddler so he can get his picture with santa and we'll get the free picture frame they offer. 1
berry1014 Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Walmart as it the store in town .. all other stores are out of town
stephc Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Bass Pro has become my number 1 stop. Hmmm then maybe Kohls, Target - not super impressed. My computer and online shopping will probably be my friend.
bribri25 Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 probably JCP, just because they open first and give me a free $10 coupon, with the chance for more (that is if in fact the coupons are being given out at 2pm). Then we'll go to dinner as a family and then do my shopping. Not sure what store my first purchase will be at.... all depends on what I can get online. MariahA Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 For the first time in four years, I will NOT be first in line at Dollar General. First stop will be Walmart after Thanksgiving lunch, then home for the night unless Ace Hardware is open, will stop there if they're open. Sleep, get baby, and then to major city for Bass Pro by 8am. Followed by TRU, a stop at Einstein Brothers for breakfast and coffee, then the mall. So Walmart first Thanksgiving night, Bass Pro first on Black Friday.
budgetsRsexy Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Because we only shop in store on Friday and the new store hours it’s definitely going to be Kohl’s at 5am for our first stop. Then JCPenney and then Target for their 6am opening. I’m so excited to finally have a game plan in place! Sent from my iPad using GottaDEAL
Elmck Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 I think Walmart and Kohl's Thursday night and northern tool and Home Depot Friday morning Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
HanShotFirst Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 I'm still not sure. I'm having to move to plan C for my big item since it wasn't in either Best Buy or Target early access sale. If I can order it online in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow then probably Walmart will be on the list first although I'm hoping to order my entire Walmart list online. Friday morning will definitely be Home Depot.
mommy2twingles Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 We are not going out until 3 am this year. Will hit Kohl's and Walmart first. Hopefully by that point Best Buy and Target will be open.
shoptillidrop2 Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 My computer and GottaDeal to check the deals of course! Actually, I haven't really found much I want this BF. Kinda feeling down as I look forward to BF every year. Will go to RiteAid sometime during the sale, but that's about it for this year.
