Bopeep
I do all of the ordering for my company, so I checked the websites of the office supply companies we use most often. Even with our preferred customer discounts, you're best price is Amazon. Looks like you're looking at around $150.https://www.amazon.com/Nakajima-WPT-150-Electronic-Typewriter/dp/B001D4CH9O/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1508864990&sr=8-7&keywords=typewriter

gatorburg
Check ebay out or goodwill or any other thriftshop. Just make sure it still works well or on amazon you can get keyboards for a computer that act like a typewriter. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_4_10?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=typewriter+keyboard&sprefix=typewriter%2Caps%2C151&crid=AKGD12LJMOCQ
jesusluvu
I had flashbacks reading this. Typing a paper and it jamming or smearing and having to redo it. Oh my poor fingers. I had the old one that you had to stay with your fingers to get it to work. Oh the horror. ..

I had the old one that you had to stay with your fingers to get it to work. Oh the horror. ..Onion skin paper that you needed that special eraser pencil with the brush on the end or carbon paper.I was so happy to have that typewriter that had the white-out ribbon so you could backspace, retype the mistake with the white ribbon, then type your correct key! Kids today can't even conceive the horror of typing term papers on typewriters!

Bopeep
Then, there's this: https://www.facebook.com/thisisinsiderdesign/videos/494586957549605/ . It's a typewriter keyboard, for your tablet. Obviously, not what she's after. I just thought of this thread when I saw it . http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k499/ts1852/d8c408_44439797b2cf470baa235c73fb6202ba-mv2.png Edited October 27, 2017 by Bopeep
HanShotFirst
That is freaking awesome! I love it. I don't think my sister uses a keyboard with her iPad or I would definitely get that for her.

I just looked it up. It actually sounds like a typewriter. I need this, although, I don't use a tablet so I wouldn't use it. Pretty expensive decoration.
