If the 13 Days of Halloween is an indicator, we’re in for the same hand-full of movies. I’ll still watch but I remember when it seemed they actually put effort into what they showed.

I just checked out the 13 days of Halloween line-up  ...so disappointing...

I wonder if Netflix or Hulu will have any original content for Christmas ?

I have Netflix and every year I check through out the year to see if there are any good classic Christmas movies and there hasn't been in the past...they also change their content sometimes so movies that may have been on there a year or two ago could be gone now...

I agree, I was looking on Saturday and had to look through a ton of movies after searching for Christmas. Was annoying.

Amazon is the same way with their movies! I don't understand why they can have a "Holiday Section"! Searching Holiday gives some results - but on both Amazon and Netflix it seems to be associated with the title rather than the genre. :yuck:

I think it's even worse with Amazon. At least of the apps I have used I can't figure out how to only show me things that are free with Prime and it ONLY show me things free with Prime lol.

Other than Christmas with the Kranks their Christmas movie selection has sucked the past few years! They all seem to be a bunch of corny low budget movies....I wish they'd put some good classics on there!

Nothing says Christmas like .....Harry Potter??? I have found that nothing beats good old Blurays and DVDs for the classics. People sell them dirt cheap at yard sales and church rummage sales. Just this weekend i found two copies of the Once upon a christmas/twice upon a christmas bluray/DVD combo for $1 each.

Thinking one of the days on the upcoming weekend will be a lazy Christmas movie day. Supposed to be cooler out, might make some good cold weather food, and watch some of our favorite movies and have some hot cocoa.

Anyone else seeing the countdown gift box in the bottom corner of the screen on Hallmark? LOVE it - it is counting down the hours and minutes until the first Christmas moves airs tomorrow afternoon. :) Can't wait!

:stir: chicken and dumplings sounds good. I made some chili yesterday since the temp has dropped. Really hit the spot. That and it makes for good lunch the following days.

I am saving this one. It really kicks off the season at my house

It's always kicked off here. We will bust out a Christmas movie any time we can. :sidesplit

I watched that one yesterday too.  And the next 2 weekends' new movies are set to record already.  I really wish the guide went out more than 2 weeks, I'm afraid I'll forget to record one. Don't want to miss any :).

Cannot wait to snuggle under my comforter tomorrow night while tuned in to Hallmark Channel...joy...

Sent from my SM-G930V using GottaDEAL mobile app

I did that this weekend too. We watched about 5 movies. I had to bribe the youngest one with candy to stay and watch it with me
