Tara3117
I think the problem is that Kmart never decided to update with the times. Wal Mart has been doing it, Target is good at it. They survive today. Kmart needed to kill of some of the old stores build nicer newer modern ones (or at minimum remodel old ones) you know have the place not look like it's the 70's and we are all shopping there Spot on! tracy0504
Maybe they'll revamp the ones that are still open since they have closed so many...one can only hope...
Kanyon71
I was surprised to find out they had 28 stores left to close to be honest. It seems every other month they close a whole bunch. They talk about saving $1.5B on operating costs, well heck you can save 100% at some point if you just close every store.
budgetsRsexy
Wow, there goes the last one in my entire city area. Guess that crosses off one Black Friday stop.

cln29
Just read another one in Michigan is closing. Down to 20 in the entire state now. I'm sure it won't be long before they are all gone. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
Brad
Both Sears and Kmart shut down their affiliate programs through at least the end of the month today because of budget issues. Not looking good...
berry1014
I stopped in the Kmart by my work a few weeks ago and I couldn't find anything I wanted to buy. Sears parking lot is always pretty empty too.

Not looking good...Seems smart. We aren't making enough money so let's shut down the program that pushes more money our way.
Love4Fashion
There are no more Kmarts in my area and the vacant buildings for two of them became the store AtHome. As many have said, Kmart was just dated and didn’t change with the times.

Hopefully someone snags them out of Bankruptcy and makes a go of it. People running it now have no clue.
Bopeep
Certainly makes me nervous to do ANY Black Friday shopping there. I want to know I'm going to have a place to return to, if something goes wrong.
Brad
Last week Sears & Kmart basically told us affiliates that they don't have $ and aren't going to pay us commissions for the rest of the year, so yeah...
