So I was wondering how other decorate their outside for the holidays. Anyone get real extravagant with the decorations? I am working on a sequenced light show. Got the last part I need for this year the other day. Now I just need to mount the computer and such inside and get it all setup to go. If anyone has any pictures or anything please post them up. If I actually get mine up this year I will take some and post them also.

My husband used to run LOR on our previous house. The last few years have been static. He volunteers at a local park that has a drive-thru display and does an animated display there now.

We don't have a light show, but we do have several inflatables and lights that light up our road.

Had some bad luck with mine. Wanted to put it in the new case yesterday and get it ready to put up but the case is too small for the controller the switches and the plugs. Grrrrrrr

I'm looking for some lights to put on the wreaths we have on our coach lights out front.

Since the kids' grew up and moved out - a wreath on the door is about all I do outside. (We sit way off the road and don't use the front door for entry - so it seems like kind of a waste... I do miss the inflatables and light up deer that we used to do when the kids were younger, though.)

Nothing to crazy, Wreaths and bows on all windows, garland around the door. Net lighting on the bushes, 3.5 lighted tress on both sides of the door, Decorated wreath on the door, Laser lights on the house, and lighted presents -snowman and train set in the yard.

Since I moved this year all I'm putting up is a wreath (if I find it in time), and some wood cutouts of Santa and two reindeer. Not much room at the housing complex I'm at, so most of my other decorations are in storage. If I had the room I'd put up a couple inflatables one being my favorite- Bumble from Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer.
EDIT: I just realized the Santa cutout I mentioned is the same one I have in my profile pic. It's about 20 years old I'd imagine as its been a long time since that photo was taken.

Put some new greens on the railings, a new wreath up and two star showers with two red spotlights on the house! Happy Holidays!

Very nice
Snow just adds the little something extra.
We got some of our stuff up today. Hoping to get some more done this week. Not being able to put up my controller due to the box being too small sort of bums me out though

funny thing with my outside lights. we go a littel haywire with our outdoor lights.( some we actually leave in a huge oak tree as they are not climbing to the top of this tree every time to take them down and put back up the high ones.. anyhow i got one of those projection light things and we put it up.. what a waste. lol due to the other lights you cant even see the lights that are all over from the projection thing... opps didnt think this one through

We looked at them last night at Walmart. Didn't pick it up. I want to get my system I built setup but things just seem to be working against me.

Very cool. Are the lights on the wreath battery operated?

They are. I got them from QVC years ago and I think they are on their last leg. Some of the lights on them don't even work anymore but I'll use them until none of them light up because they cost me a fortune. LOL.

I've gotten a couple battery operated LED strands from Target after Holiday clearance. They were dirt cheap and work for our front door wreath, maybe try checking those out around new years as replacements or before if they have a deal and cartwheel to add.
