tracy0504 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 I'm hoping this article is correct with it's predictions and us consumers reap the benefits of aggressive deals/sales...
freesia39 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 I for one would like this election to be over so that my FB and Twitter can return to cat gifs. 4
Kanyon71 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 If I get one more email or phone call about this election I think I may kill my technology until it's over lol. 1
jesusluvu Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 I tell them everytime they call I will not be voting for them but they keep calling. The last time they called i started reading bible versus until they finally hung up. If I get some leaked ads before I will start asking them about the deals. My time my rules. 4
berry1014 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 We already have a set budget planned and have ideas of what we are buying however the upcoming BF sales will determine how much we buy. Once money is gone, the shopping stops.
len_mullen Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 43 percent of people said election uncertainty made them more cautious with their spending. I don't believe this.EVERYTHING is not political. Cash-for-Clunkers sucked money out of a holiday season. Bumper stickers will not. There are problems in retail which are long standing and will not be quickly cured, but they are about saturation, lack of innovation, a decade long recession, and the falling number of babies being born to American families. None of these things will go away after the election. There WILL be bargains, so don't blow your savings on the first pretty girl that flirts with you. 2

zim05 Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 To be completely honest, election fatigue is killing everything! With that said, the election does not impact my BF or holiday shopping. I know exactly what I want to get on BF and a price point I want to stay in.
