Now that all the key ads are out, it's time for one of my two annual surveys of GottaDeal members.

 

What stores do you plan to shop at this Thanksgiving / Black Friday?  Check all that apply in the survey!

 

This is the sixth year I have done this poll, which has grown to four questions.

 

 

 

Apologies if one of your stores is missed, I can only include 50 choices in each survey.  (Which is why I added aditional questions a couple of years ago in order to move some stores into separate groups.

 

If you change your plans, you can come back and click "Delete My Vote" and do it all over again.

That first question is really difficult because if I can get everything online Wednesday night, many of those stores I won't shop at in-person...

missing Dollar General and Family Dollar, I will go to Family Dollar then I will head over to Target and start my waiting in line.

I just changed one of the choices in the online section to "I check various web sites and will buy wherever I find the best deal on something I am interested in."

Headed to Meijer for... CAT LITTER (!?!) Thursday morning. Later on in the late afternoon/evening, I'll head out to Walmart (maybe) and then Best Buy if I wasn't able to grab everything from there online. Friday is PetSmart/B&BW/several other places as the mood strikes. lol

I'll add Kohl's to the online list next year due to its popularity, but for now it falls under "Websites for other B&M stores"

Interesting. I am with bribri25; if I can get some of my items online before hand, there are some stores I won't visit in person. Thanks for doing this poll.

I'm in Mass. No stores are allowed to open on Thanksgiving, except convenience stores and 24 hour pharmacies.

Looking at the final results, I am surprised at the number of stores that either none or just one of the 40 respondents said they would visit, including Cabela's, F.Y.E, Sports Authority, Dell.com, some regional department stores, and all three military stores.

In store Thursday:

Walmart (late aft/early evening)

Bath & Body Works (evening)

 

In store Friday:

Best Buy (picked up a few more cheap BR's)

We ended up doing all of our Wednesday and Thursday shopping online.

 

Online:

Kohl's

Target

Toys R Us

Amazon

B&H Photo

 

Friday (In Store):

Target

Walmart

Kmart

Meijer

Home Depot (Was ordered online then also shopped in store)

Sam's Club (didn't end up getting anything)

 

We shopped at a lot less places than normal still got a lot of good deals though.
