freesia39 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Like Brad said, it was quantity, not necessarily quality. I bought one item. Some stuff I saw "sold" out, other stuff no one wanted, so eh.
momlori Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 I looked a few times but nothing I really wanted enough to buy at the prices they were offering. Not that big a deal IMHO
tinkrbel Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 so after 2 useless chats while sale was live, they emailed me around 9pm offering to honor price on tv......when its no longer on sale by amazon. I need to call and see if they'll still honor
rachealb Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 I am a big Amazon fan, but thought this sale was not so good... 2
2chia Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 I will have to agree with Rachealb. It was a let down . I love Amazon but after all the hype , there is nothing that was shouting at me for me to get it home. I end up getting the 2 yr Kindle Unlimited.
tinkrbel Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 And then they denied offer of price matching AFTER order was placed and can't cancel order. They better hope it doesn't get delivered wo signature or they'll be coming back for it free of charge and facing CC company for full refund.
bpr Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I know I'm late to the party, but definitely wasn't what the hype made it out to be. I'll wait for the real Black Friday sale .
jaymacfla Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 People never seem to learn that there will never be a replacement for Black Friday. That also goes for retailers who spit at tradition and trample on their customer base.
Kanyon71 Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 To me BF is more than just the items on sale. It's a part of tradition, I at times think it's also about the hunt not just the score 2
tinkrbel Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 After much back and forth I came out on top Got tv for 75 applied almost $55 rewards from amazon credit card so wound up paying maybe $50 out of pocket for tv and warranty through square trade. Parents are happy and its a big item we don't need to have taking up trunk space on BF. I'm not sure what we'll be picking up this year though.
