pinkroses4mommy Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 If any of you have a Rugged Wearhouse nearby, I went in there today, and they are having an additional 50% off their clearance. I got Mudd sweatshirts for my daughter for $2.50, other tops for $2.00, pair of capris for $1, socks for her for 25 cents, Starter athletic pants for my son for $2.00. I know that these stores are in Georgia and South Carolina, but I'm not sure of anywhere else.
stillw8n4aqt Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 There are stores here in Va too... I love that store.. I have gotten some amazing deals there.. I got Mudd jackets (adult) for $2.00 the last time they had this sale after Christmas.. I also got a ton of Abercrombie and Aeropostale shirts for like .50 They are great.. Other than you have to check things over... But still worth it
meo Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 we have one here in southeast va too -- never been there, and apparently will change that today...lol!

AndreaInNC Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I do love Rugged Wearhouse .. but they sometimes fail to warn you that their "red tagged" merchandise is nonreturnable. They do have signs around the store and at the register, but I HATE when the folks ringing the stuff up don't tell me too.

pinkroses4mommy Posted January 30, 2006 Author Posted January 30, 2006 I went to the Athens Store. They had alot of stuff left on clearance, but the children's clothes were getting picked through, and at these prices, I don't know how much will be left by then.

The funny part is that I got a pair of Nikes that were on clearance for $25.0 for .25 The girl didn't ring them up right.. I didn't even notice until I got home and looked at my receipt... Looks like .25 is my lucky # HAHAHA (TRU)
meo Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 What part of Va are you from? Ha Ha Let me rephrase that... Are you in the Hampton Roads area? Yep, I went to the one on coliseum that day...kinda scary place, but good deals; I bought a few of those bowls for $1 each and a chip/dip plate for $2...spent $12 and got four bowls, the chip/dip thing, a sweater for me($1) a skirt for me ($4.99) and something else I can't remember...lol...

But I live closer to the Denbigh one, so I always wind up there... Sometimes they can both be a little scary! haha

Sometimes they can both be a little scary! hahaThat's funny, b/c I don't know the denbeigh area very well...I know the hampton/Yorktown area better -- getting my feet wet southside a bit here and there, but see no point in messing with the Gods of the HRBT if I don't need to...LOL. My neighbor was telling me that the denbigh one is a bit "sketchy" -- she'd never been to the coliseum one (which is odd, b/c they grew up in the FoxHill/Buckroe area, but married shipyard workers, so maybe that's why?) -- PS -- there's a nice second hand children's store opening near you -- it's called Tadpoles and it's currently located on 17 North of Victory, but she's opening a second location on denbigh...good stuff, pretty decent prices too
jbearcbear Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 just got back from Rugged Warehouse I got a pair of sleep/lounge pants for $1.50, a shirt for $2, and a sexy little black dress for $2.50 total was $6.96 after tax

It has moved a couple of times.. Not sure where it is going this time though... I am actually from Gloucester.. and we have WeePoles here... They are somehow affliated... I LOVE that place.. I have been a consignor there since September and have made over $1000 from it! They are awesome...

I am actually from Gloucester.. and we have WeePoles here... They are somehow affliated... I LOVE that place.. I have been a consignor there since September and have made over $1000 from it! They are awesome... See, I have been to Gloucester once for the daffodil festival last year...it was hurricane-rain! LOL. So we haven't been back since. LOL. Tadpoles has changed hands three times since I've been here...I consigned a buttload of stuff, and got a whopping $11 back, but that was different management...when they were still in the food lion shopping plaza. Now they're down across from TruValue and next to Ken Matthews garden center.
stillw8n4aqt Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 I know where they are now... But where are they moving to? The one in Gloucester is amazing .. Like i said over $1000. since Sept.
