People in North hollywood theres a door buster on jan 26 at 8am at the grand opening of a 99 cents store first nine customers can get the ipod nano for 99 cents and the next 99 customers can get a scooter for 99 cents

Its not worth it. Atleast not if the line forms 24 hours + like it does here in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. The only "promotion" I am willing to wait in anymore is Chickfila. Wait in line about 12 hours and get one free combo meal every week for an entire year. Doesn't sound like to much, but $5 times 52 is $250 worth of free food. Been eating there free a year now, and last week I earned another year worth.

I remember when the .99 cent store opened here...27" RCA TVs for .99. There was a line for about 24 hours. Yes, I waited. No, I did not get a TV. But they did not state how many they were giving away. I was the 1st person to NOT get one. But I did load up on .99 gallons of milk! LOL.

You have to keep your ears and eyes open for new restaurants. Usually on opening day is when they do the giveaway for a year's worth of food.

 

But .. the line usually starts 24 hours beforehand.
