  1. Yeah I know! Was thinking of selling one of my field tix for Dodger Stadium, but with the already steep Ticketmaster price and Ebay/PayPal fees eating almost 10%, I'll be lucky to break even. Lucky, I think I have a friend interested in buying. And great...they add a Staples Center date. Staples is 1/3 the size of Dodger Stadium and of course they annouce the way bigger gig first to ensure that will sell out.
  2. Worked for me!! Does anyone know if avon.com charges sales taxes? I only see a total before tax on my order.
  3. I went to the Staples BF two years ago and there was already a long line before 6am. But I think that was because there was a Circuit City across the street. I was gonna go to CC first but the line was so long, I went to Staples across the street.
  4. See this. It'll have instructions on how to set up your voicemail. It's funny...a few days ago I activated a TracFone and already had a couple voicemails. They were all election-related though.
  5. I've purchases many many many gift cards on Ebay with no problems. I make sure the seller has good feedback, doesn't list the gift card number in the description, look at the expiration dates, and I use PayPal in case something goes wrong. I've purchased Victoria's Secret, GAP, Express, Target, Macy's, Starbucks, Ticketmaster, Claim Jumpers, Walgreens gift cards with no problems. Also sold a few for close to full value on Ebay as well.
  6. Great find!! And I needed travel mugs too. Plus I get 1% though the Citi Dividend Merchant Network!
  7. I've hardly had problems using internet-printed coupons. One time at Walgreens the cashier (she seemed new) called the manager who let it go. But as long as it scans, it's OK.
  8. Mercury Insurance is cheap, but I've have a friend who has had problems dealing with their claims department. I usually call around, get quotes online and compare them on a spreadsheet. Mercury and esurance.com were among the cheapest I've found. Or if you have a home insurance policy, call up your agent and see if your insurance company will offer you a deal. I use Wawanesa Insurance but they only offer policies to good drivers in California and Oregon.
  9. Eeek...well at least I wear gas permeable contact lenses.
  10. I think they may have limited the number of people signing up for the promotion.
  11. I think there used to be a list of chain stores posted on that site, but I'm guessing they don't count.
  12. BTW, you can check your rebate status here http://rebatestatus.walgreens.com/lookupbystreetnumberzipcodefirstinitiallastname.asp
  13. I think cuz it's prevalent. You can find it at discount stores, supermarkets, etc. And they have a great Refer-A-Friend program. I've gotten tons of free minutes thru it. And my reception is pretty good in my area.
  14. Certain rebates don't get added to your current gift card, particularly the ones in which you buy $20 of a certain product and get $10 back. Those rebates are sent a separate gift card. They usually mail them a few weeks after your gift card gets recharged.
