He says "I can't believe you just walked past the stack of packages". I didn't see them lol. In the stack was my SS gift! So I opened it right away (I don't know how you guys wait till xmas lol). Inside was a NY Yankees blanket, an adorable penguin ornament (I love penguins), a box of Andes candies (which I'm hiding from everyone else) and a gift card for Chick-fil-A which was promptly used when we went to lunch Thank you so much to my SS!! I got my favorite chocolates (already eaten lol), cross stitch to do after the holidays, a makeup kit (my Daughter confiscated it) and a NAVY ornament for my tree. My Son went to Navy Boot Camp in August and is now in A-school. He will be here for Xmas on Saturday. Returns to SC January 2nd. Cannot wait for him to see the tree. Thank you again. She received 2 colorful shirts that she cannot wait for warmer weather to wear. Plus some chocolate (which is now gone and she is eating mine!!!) and a coffee mug that matcher her new shirts! (Talk about being color co-ordinated!) UNFORTUNATELY --- we found one last gift on the bottom of the SS box that mom is NOT happy about. She as that "In the future, please tell my secret santa not to sent me any more bugs!!" (Mom is not a fan of bugs...alive or dead. Thank goodness it was not a spider! I have been feeling down this week in pain after the surgery and someone went to the post office and my box was there I opened it to find peppermint scented candle, soap, lotion and body wash oh it lifted my spirits into a Christmas mood. After a long couple of weeks I finally took a few minutes to myself and thought why not, let's open that gift! A huge thank you to my SS. I received three Wilton bakeware pans, a Hotmocs neck gaiter, Hotmocs beanie and an adorable decorative door mat!!!e pansThe bakeware pans will be put to use shortly. The Hotmocs are perfect, living in Central NY it can get a bit chilly to say the least. And the door mat is in place (with specific instructions that none is to step on it...lol)Thank you again, your thoughtfulness is appreciated. And a big thank you to Chief Elf and the team as well. One of my Christmas favorites!), a box of Andes mints (yay!!!), some Swiss Miss hot cocoa mix (gonna save this for when it gets really cold), three whisks (yay!!! I needed some new ones!), and a whole candy cane full of great toys for my kitty babies. So fun! As always, many thanks to chief elf for organizing another great set of exchanges this year!
