love2beurwifey Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 I cant wait until I get off so that I can go and get some of those clearance goodies
kdaven Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 I too just got back. Had everything I wanted and didn't know I wanted until it was 75% off. Funny how the heart desires can be easily influenced if the % off is right!
Diamond_girl Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 I got one of those awful little pre-lit purple tinsel Christmas trees to use as a conversation-starter for next year! It was only $2.49 so I couldn't leave it on the shelf. Purple is my favorite color!
Gumball Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 I was at the store here yesterday when it was still 50% off and it was so picked over I couldn't find anything I wanted left.
starshine Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 I just got back from my local WM and every thing was 75% off. TONS OF STUFF LEFT!!!! I didn't really buy anything but I may go back on Sunday and get a few things.
queenofshopping Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 im going to one sort of out in the middle of nowhere tomorrow, maybe i'll get lucky...one closer to me was picked over even before christmas!

Stowasser Posted December 30, 2005 Author Posted December 30, 2005 My husband stopped looking a long time ago, I love decorating for all the holidays!

JJ_61755 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Spent $15 on those gift sets. Were $8.98, now $2.24. Employees had go the christmas trees but I didn't need one. Also, Cracker Barrel started their 75% off today and their stuff is a lot nicer than WM's. They also have dog/cat stuff.
Kandy Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I got the Star Wars bubble bath, normal 2.99 was not suppose to be on the 75% off location but it was, so i got three of them for 74 cents each. I got another big faced dog ornaiment, and some new lights 3 sets candy for the kids three sacks of stuff was $5.87 with tax
jasmom87 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I got a prelit 6' outside tree for $8.00 for hubby. He is checking it out now and is so happy. His goal is to have one of those real tacky houses that is lit up everywhere and in his words "when I flip the switch, the other lights around us dim".
JanetThomas1 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I got Christmas stuff but I also got a huge electric roaster - $10, the little crock pot - $2, the food chopper - $2, a coverd cake pan - $2, two galss pie plates for $2 and some pretty glass dish sets (chip and dip and salad set) for $1.20 and $2.40! I am pretty happy. I missed out on the rectangular, covered deep fryer for $7 though! I went to three Wal-marts here and only one had this stuff on clearance! Happy happy happy!
bravesrule62382 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Got garland and clear lights for decorating this year $1.61 and $0.50 respectively. Also they have all of the holiday lipsmackers sets on sale (some at 0.70) and there is a coupon available online (Boodle.com) for $1 off any two lipsmackers products. This makes the sets $0.20 a piece!
elena_398 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I also got a remote control holder. They had the oak colored one left so I grabbed it. Now the downstairs family room will MAYBE have some organization with the controllers. We have 4 of them and constantly losing one or two
CarpeDiem Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Ours had tons at 75% off if it hits 90 and there's still trees left I'm buying a new one for our den I bought a ton of stuff. Great shopping day!!

*sparkles* Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 went to ours...all that was left was an aisle full of red felt bows, and another one full of green garland (I think that's what it's called).... and I was so excited to go.
oldvter Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 went to ours...all that was left was an aisle full of red felt bows, and another one full of green garland (I think that's what it's called).... and I was so excited to go. Same here, just a bunch of cards. That was about it. I was a bit disappointed, but not surprised. Congrats to all of you who found deals though! Victory!
indallas Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 My finds at Walmart included: Sunbeam Neon Lights - Pointsetta, Palm Tree and Butterfly - $1.25/each - these are so cute. Peanuts lip balm sets - $1.14/each Dale Earhnardt ornament - .78 Jeff Gordon/Dale Jr. ornaments - 1.xx/each Santa, Snowman windsocks - .24/each Snowman kitchen mits - .47 Snowman kitchen towels - .47
Mommie2one Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Went back today for yet another round of buying. Found some stashed away $2.88 perfumes (obviously someone forgot where they hid them!) for only .70 and also found several hand towels for only .45 for my guest bathroom for next year. Hair brush set for only $1.21. Not bad. That makes 4 trips and each time I find something else. At this point though, its pretty much picked over now
christmasangel Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 I'll have to check it out- maybe tomorrow. There is a tree skirt there for $40- so that would make it what like $10 with 75% off?!?!!?!??!? sweet!
Mommie2one Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Absolutely nothing left today. I swear they dumped the stuff I saw yesterday. Had to go back today to get dog food. Totally forgot yesterday. Now its stocked with other items (regular sale items that is)
indallas Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I went back yesterday afternoon to get more of the .23/mini-scrapbooks and found a bucket of those foam Spongebob characters for $1.49/reg. $5.96 and some more scrapbook stuff on sale. All this stuff was NOT in the Christmas section, it was still in the arts and crafts section.
bodeca29 Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I went the other day and I swear there was nothing left but pieces of cardboard and the whispers of deals missed! Seriously though it looked like a tornado went through those aisles. That is why I prefer Target over Walmart. My walmart is ALWAYS so disorganized and just yucky, for lack of a better word, looking. I just have a better time shopping at Target.
Kayakmom Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 There were still some things left at our Walmart, but nothing that I wanted or needed - except chocolate covered cherries for 24 cents a box, lol. My hubby loves them so I stocked up!
