I heard they don't work good. They look great at Walmart, but alot of people have taken them home and found that you can hardly see your child on the tv...even with alot of light...the picture looks very dark, etc. I know 5 people who had the same problem and returned them. :( I thought it was a cute idea...but I am not going to spend the money on it if it doesn't work (and my front room isn't brightly lit, so I am assuming I would have the same problem).

I just read that in the reviews on toysrus.com earlier today and am now a bit worried, this is one of the first items I bought for mydaughter and I know she willlove it, that is if it works! Some of the reviews raved on about it, and some said just what you said about the lighting so I guess I will have to wait and see.

Have you tried target? I know they had them and it even came with a bonus cartridge. Good luck.

I wanted one for my 3 year old but the songs are horrible. He needs kids' songs. Not adult remakes.
