BEWARE WITH DELL ORDERS!!! I purchased one through Dell on 11/25. The order status said delivery in 2/2008!! So i called and they said they would rush the order, should get it within 3-4 days. On 12/2 I called again since my order status kept saying "in production". It was then that they told me Dell does not have anymore and won't be shipping them out!!! Well it would have been nice if they told me!!! I checked my bank and I wasn't charged, so I am calling my bank tomorrow to make sure that doesn't get approved just in case. I am also calling Dell tomorrow to make sure I am not getting charged. If you also need to refund, call this number 1-800-247-2076 (hours: M-F 7a-9p CST, weekends 8a-5p CST). This is the order modification dept. Some other people have complained that Dell does not willingly return your $$.

Be careful..I think what most people are talking about are the regular leapster games, which go on sale alot. But the L-max games are still around $29 at Wal-Mart. The L-Max system can play both regular and L-Max games, but only the L-max games will work on your tv set as an interactive game.

I think emachines are cheaply made. I hear about alot of problems with them. If I bought one (for my child), i would sell the 15" monitor since she already has a flat panel 17" monitor. Then I can get most, if not all, my money back! :)

I just got an email saying the 22" monitor is back ordered and I should receive it in one-two weeks. I wish I could get it right away, but oh well, for the price..I can wait! :)

I got the 22" monitor early this morning from online. I guess I hit a little window where it didn't keep saying "sold out" but I just got an email saying it's on back order, and it will arrive in one-two weeks. I can wait! :) I had to pay shipping, which sux, but i guess $12 shipping is better than standing in the cold for 8 hours and HOPING u get one! :)

I just purchased the 22 inch monitor. It sux that I had to pay shipping but it was only like $12. I was trying to find a code to use for free shipping, but i couldn't find one (or didn't want to waste too much time finding one). I hope I like this monitor. I wanted the Acer 20" at Circuit city, but I kinda like the widescreen. The 19" widescreen looked too small to me.

Also, did you notice the westinghouse 22" monitors have been sold out all week? (even at the regular price?)

Do you think the 22" westinghouse monitors will be in the stores??? I am definitely going to have to get in line

This is what I wanted to, UNTIL I went to BB to check them out. They seem so SMALL because they are wide, but short with regards to height. I am totally unimpressed with them now. I might just sink an extra $75 and go with the 22" widescreen from westinghouse. That one looked pretty good. My 17 inch monitor is still ok, i just need something so I can give mine to my daughter. Worse comes to worse, I will just get the $80 17" monitor for her, and keep mine. I'm so confused. I don't really want to stand in line. I hope the 22" will be online, too, since it's not an early bird item.

Target also has good sales on that following saturday, too :)

circuit city had free shipping on alot of their BF online items last year! :) so i hope best buy is the same. :)

The items I want are not doorbusters (so now I can hit another store in the AM), and they are deals that are for both Fri and Sat. So for these sales, are the same prices usually found online? If so, does best buy allow me to purchase online, then pick up in the nearest store?? (i know circuit city does this). I am interested in the samsung 19" widescreen monitor, but I hope they don't run out right away...what do you think are the chances for that happening?? Maybe I should be there...at least I don't have to worry about getting a ticket for anything. Thanks in advance for any info :)

Last year they were giving tix out for a camcorder. I was bummed, but went home and went online and they offered the same deals online, so i got my camcorder, even with free shipping! So if there are other bigger things you want, check their online site..u may still be able to get them! :)

I am not impressed with the l-max price. I can get it for a few dollars cheaper right now (the pink one, too!). I am just going to buy it online today to save me a trip to the store. I don't want to get there and have it be gone. Do you know if Kohl's offers their BF deals on their website??? I heard they do.

I don't know about Amazon, but Sears was VERY delayed with keeping up with emails/alerts, etc. I could have the shipped items for a WEEK, then I get an email stating that Sears has just shipped the items! LOL But I didn't get any duplicate items or a second shipment of the same. But when that first happened to me, I was hoping for a second shipment :)

get a big box and put a couple of bricks in it. the fill it with newspaper.."hide" the gift card in the box (somewhere in all the paper)

why don't u format the hard drive and start with a fresh copy of your OS??? (u said u can get to DOS or the setup menu). or, install a cheap 4 gig hard drive as a second drive..then put the OS on that...then u can get to your old Hard drive to get your files, etc. (the setup should recognize the hard drive). I have done this multiple times to mine and my friends' computers. recovery mode is crap..never works for me.

I have a netgear and it works great. It's only wireless B router, but my cards for my laptops/desktops are wireless g (they are backwards compatible). I will be looking for a wireless G router soon...but i don't really need to upgrade cuz my B router works GREAT throughout the house. I like Netgear's look, too (slim and silver).

I heard they don't work good. They look great at Walmart, but alot of people have taken them home and found that you can hardly see your child on the tv...even with alot of light...the picture looks very dark, etc. I know 5 people who had the same problem and returned them. I thought it was a cute idea...but I am not going to spend the money on it if it doesn't work (and my front room isn't brightly lit, so I am assuming I would have the same problem).

I wrap my daughter's gifts late on Christmas eve, after she goes to bed (i know if i do it earlier, the wrapping will rip, etc ). I still have to go shopping for all of our "hat gifts" on each side of the family, as well as my nieces. I have a rain check for my dad's gift so i hope they get this item in before christmas

Meijers had a ton of vsmile power adapters stocked. they had all of their games at $13.90 on clearance..i know they are regularly $20. I bought six games, plus I got the console for only $39.99 there. The adapter is $10. I agree that it's terrible that they don't include the power adapter. Doesn't make any sense. And I am NOT going to be buying C batteries for that thing all the time.

I just exchanged my blue and red GB's for the "brighter screen" sets today! thanks to this thread! :) They were ringing up the same during the exchange, but the girl wanted to double check anyways (what's the difference if they are ringing up the same, though! DUHHH) at first the manager told me that they aren't the same, that those were $69, so I said (haha) "oh well if they are $69, and the normal price of my BF sets were $79, i should get some money back, right???" Well that changed his mind and said "it's ok to exchange!" Well we shouldn't have even went thru that if they are RINGING UP THE SAME AMOUNTS ANYWAYS!!!! STUPID PEOPLE!

thanks for sharing! I bought 2 gameboys on BF (they only had the red and blue gameboys...i think i will try to exchange mine too! :)
