Guest jrsins Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 I have to buy a female gift for about $20.00 for the annual Christmas Eve family get-together. There are all different sized women so clothes are out of the question. One doesn't have pierced ears so earrings are out. Any suggestions?
queenofshopping Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 oo i love a noodle-scratcher...hmm a few ideas: wine candles necklace or bracelet (kohls is having major % off sales friday & saturday) gift certificate back massager body splash/lotion purse (try marshalls or tj maxx) manicure set photo albums/frames
CG480 Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 How about making a gift basket you can put some scent candles in it some nice bath stuff alsomost anything you can thing of. I have made some really nice baskets out of stuff from the dollar store.
dealluvr Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 get a big clear vase at the dollar store, fill it alternately with clear battery lights like for the christmas tree and potpurri.when the lights are turned on it heats up the potpurri and it makes the room smell good. then add maybe a small candle,a small body spray, maybe some good chocolate
civicracinggirl7 Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 if there are still good b&bw deals, then i'd get two of those and then a couple candles and bundle it together in a little basket. you could do this with any kind of lotion/body wash/bubble bath though, so you could probably pick up an "aromatherapy" pack at kmart/wal-mart/target for cheap, then get some candles in a matching scent or so and get a basket from the dollar store
sheli Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Hat, Scarf, glove set....saw some on sale at Sears (in store) under $20 for some nice lookinh sets.
missyjane Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Massage Gift Certificate. We have a "Beauty School" in town and for $20 you can get a massage and a facial!
Guest jrsins Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Thank you for all your ideas. They have helped me very much.
