Thanks, I'll have to go check it out. I bought one for $99.99 at Target and if I can save by getting this one I will return the other one.

Thank You for posting this. I had posted under deal finder just a few days ago for one under $100! My kids all have GBA's and the best thing about it is they will be able to play their GBA games on the gamecube! My local Walmart was OOS so I didn't bother finding out the price but even with shipping and tax it's only $92! I'm sooo excited! I love this site!!

FYI: Target has a Game Cube bundle with 2 controllers and Mario Party 7 for $99. It's in their in-store ad; don't know about online. I went for that one, because I think the kids will prefer the Mario Party game and I need 2 controllers.

Also Toys R Us has the Game Cube Bundle with 2 controllers, Mario Party 7and the games Super Monkey Ball and Sonic Adventure DX for 109.00.

 

It is available online but I haven't seen it actually in stock there. I got one in store yesterday and got the last one last night, but I was back at another local TRU today and they had another 4 on the shelf.

I gave my son a choice for christmas between PS2 or an x-box (not 360) I was kinda pushing for the PS2 because it could be used as a DVD player too, however if I wouldn't have to buy a bunch of new games right away if you can use the gba games because he has a bunch of those and more to come on x-mas morning.

It is true that you can play GBA games on the gamecube, but only if you buy the optional accessory which usually retails for close to $50. But if you have a large library of GBA games, this might be a cheaper route then having to buy a bunch of new games. Here is a link to the accessory on Walmarts website where they are selling it for $46.82

I went to my Walmart tonight and they told me that the system is $99. They also said that the $79 was online only and that Walmart.com gets items cheaper, so they can afford to sell them at cheaper prices. I think I will take the printout to Sears tomorrow and have it price matched plus 10%.

Hello! Great Deal!

Playing GBA games on Gamecube: There is cheaper plug-in attachment that works too. You don't have to purchase the $50 adapter. I got mine at TRU for around $9.

Don't get the adapter called "Advanced gameport" it only allows you to use your gamecube controller with the GBA screen. The TRU employees will have no idea about it.

 

The real one is $37 at least, anywhere. Made by nintendo.

I haven't had a chance to go to Sears yet, but I heard on here somewhere that they will match a printout. I think someone did it for the Nintendo DS from target. As soon as I go I'll let everyone know how it goes, hopefully tomorrow.

Circuit City has the game cube bundle that includes extra controller and mario party 7 that is $99. If yoy buy something for a dollar or two you could use the $15 off $100 coupon and get it for $85, they offer free shipping. A friend of mine told me so I thought I would pass it on. :)
