  1. I certainly wouldn't get all those things (for any child), but I would give him the Wii. A Christmas gift is a symbol of your love for someone, not a reward or punishment. Sounds like he might need a little reassuring after a tough year. Just my 2 cents worth. :)
  2. I make candy cane hearts for Valentine's Day. Preheat your oven @ 250. Unwrap candy canes & form hearts on a foil-lined baking sheet. Make sure that both ends of the candy canes are touching. S-l-o-w-l-y & carefully put them in the oven. Bake for about 5 minutes. Let cool & peel off of the foil. You can also leave the plastic on and just hot glue them together.
  3. I'm looking forward to my free snowglobe from JC Penney
  4. My 3 yr old has this and our entire family enjoys playing with it!
  5. Is there a coupon code? I can't find any details on one. Thanks!
  6. This site was entertaining: http://www.uglychristmaslights.com/
  7. Just my two cents worth - We had a Brother MFC 3420C for less than a year when it quit and gave us an error message. I did an internet search and found that person after person had the same problem, and unless you can convince Brother to fix it then the repair costs as much as the printer. I won't be buying another Brother product.
  8. Does anyone know if the KB Toy outlets have the same BF deals as the regular stores? Do they even carry the same items? It's been a while since I went to an outlet store. Thanks!
  9. Thank You! Thank You! I was just about to do a search for something like this.
  10. I was wondering the same thing. I couldn't really tell from the ad. I hope it is everything!
  11. I just heard on the radio that Oprah's favorite things show is Monday! Wouldn't you just love to be in that audience?
  12. I think Santa might already be there but he "officially" arrives tomorrow. (Sat.) They are having celebrations all weekend for their remodel. Here's the link for all the activities: http://www.towneastmall.com/html/Events.asp
  13. Snow update: ok, it's not real snow, but really cool anyway. There are two little machines outside the main entrance that blow clusters of tiny little bubbles. It looked exactly like snow flurries and disappeared as soon as it hit the ground. It was so festive!
  14. Don't know, but I'll find out this afternoon. We are going to see live reindeer at 3. I hope it's real!
  15. Our mall is having a holiday kick-off weekend starting today. Every two hours from today until Dec. 24th there will be a 10-minute snow flurry inside the mall! This is so exciting for us because snow is a rare thing around here. This is Town East Mall in Mesquite, TX for those of you who might be near.
  16. A suggestion about the Target griddle: unless you need that particular one, Sears has a Presto 22 in. jumbo griddle during their doorbuster for 14.99 (usually 34.99)
  17. My parents got little gifts for us for the twelve days before Christmas (little Christmas-themed items so we could enjoy them before Christmas). Each night they would hide them in our Christmas tree and we would have to hunt for them. This is one of my favorite memories!
  18. What is the best one to get for a runner? My husband wants one for his morning runs and I am clueless. He doesn't want a lot of storage so that is not an issue. He needs something that doesn't go on a clip or in a pocket, maybe straps onto his arm? Any help you can give is greatly appreciated, and the cheaper the better!
  19. Do you have an IKEA? I don't know if they are having a BF sale, but their regular prices are cheap! www.ikea.com
  20. JC Penney usually has some really good deals in housewares on BF
  21. I go mostly for gifts, but I always treat myself to something at the Bath & Body Works sale- holiday soap, lotion, or wall flower.
  22. I do the 18.99 three at a time deal. If we watch a movie and send it out the next morning, we can usually get 4-6 movies a week. I homeschool and it has been a wonderful resource for our unit studies too.
