VonnegutFan Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 I felt the need to share this: I ordered a pair of sneakers from adidas.com on Wednesday around 10:30 a.m. (free shipping for orders over $40 ). I received my packaged TODAY at around 9 a.m. I gotta say that is the fastest shipment I have ever recieved... This was shipped from Kentucky, I'm in Illinois. Less than 24 hours... I love when that happens :).
wright1baby Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 That's awesome...usually FREE shipping is "standard" which means 5-7 days generally. Does this mean Adidas.com isn't getting alot of business?
happyrat Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 UPS unlike Airborne Express (now DHL) is usually very fast. They deliver it as soon as possible no matter what service you pay for. Airborne Express once took 3 days to deliver a hard drive to me from Maxtor. It was coming from 30 miles away. You explain why it takes 3 days to drive 30 miles. I could have walked there and back in that length on time. When you ship with them ground they mean it. Its going to take that long no matter what.
elena_398 Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Thats great. I just got my FingerHut shipment. Took over a week and a half, but its here.
shanni Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 I ordered a sweater from amazon.com last night at 8PM and got it today at 1PM , I'm still in shock!
VonnegutFan Posted December 3, 2005 Author Posted December 3, 2005 I ordered a sweater from amazon.com last night at 8PM and got it today at 1PM , I'm still in shock!I couldn't think of anything less corny to say, but that's blazzin' fast!
Gloey Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 I ordered online from Fisher Price this summer and got in two days too. I was really impressed.
forsberg Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 That's cool. I remember when I ordered from adidas.com, the shoes came a couple days before est. arrival time
dextux Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 When I got my iPod from apple.com (60GB video), it got to my house two weeks earlier than apple.com's estimated ship date....and also it got here a day before FedEx's. It got here in like 2 1/2 days from Shanghai China to Ohio. I'm still amazed over that!
kfinto65 Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 UPS is the best. I always pay for ground shipping when ordering from within the state and receive the package the next day.
Bollweevilx Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 i ordered a package from best buy last week and the USPS is beaing reaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllly slow because its been showing up in MO for 3 days and I am in Illinois and it obviously hasnt made it here yet
