Gumball
Yes, I know it's early but has anybody started making New Year's Eve plans yet? Thinking about going to a party or just staying home this year? I've already seen a couple of small ads in the paper here for places that will be having a party, that's what made me think of it. There are only 33 days left in 2005.
mjmcca
Yeah i plan to be in my uniform taking care of patients. I will be sipping on sparkling cider or grape juice at Midnight!
daworths8
We stay home every year and goof off with the kids. (Were not very big going out couple & neither of us drink) I get chips, popcorn, soda etc. we all just carry on and wait for the ball to drop, whoever is showing the best coverage for it. LOL were an hour behind the east coast so even after the ball drops we still have another hour till its actually new years here. Unless I can find something local on TV doing anything. Booterbunz
The last couple of years, I've been staying home. At times, I like going out and have usually gone to house parties of coworkers or a club. We'll see what we do this year, hubby may want to stay in since his unit welcome home party is on the 29th! alimfp
No idea yet. More than likely we'll stay home and our older two will stay up with us to see the ball drop on TV. I'd love to take DH out on a date and have Gma watch the kids, but I have no idea if that will happen. :)

Spooot
Plan on staying home same as every year, I prefer to not be out with the drinkers since we don't drink. Did enough of that in my younger days. Stay in, watch tv and hope we can stay awake long enough to watch the ball drop. *LOL*

carone0318
We'll either go to our best friends house or they will come to ours. We all have small kids, so that is the easiest thing to do. We eat really good that night and might drink some. My oldest - dd (9) - she will go spend the night at her gymnastics club, she has the best time, but I have to be there to pick her up by 8am (yikes ) so not too much drinking on my end! hope1976
Haven't even talked about it, but I'm sure we're staying home. We have 3 kids (7,4,1) and it's hard to find a babysitter LOL. MIL has to work until 11, so it doesn't really pay for her to come over here at 11:30pm for us to go out for an hour - especially when we don't drink. We don't hang around a lot of groups of friends as we live in a small town with too much drama, so we keep to ourselves. We've never had the kids stay up that late, but maybe this year we'll have a little party at home with the kids - never thought of that
ajburlingame
I will be doing the same thing that I have done for the past 11 years. We will be going to a card party at my parents. It is always lots of fun and is kid friendly!!

msomnipotent
We always stay home, just like the pair of old farts that we are. It's much easier to get drunk that way!
copados1993
We won't be doing anything this year, only because I'm having surgery on the 27th to have my tonsils taken out. So sorry for you!!!!!!!!! I had mine taken out last winter and let me tell you that was the worst pain I've ever been in before!!! I made out fine for the first 48 hours after the surgery and after that it was all way down hill. Best of luck to you!!!!!!!!!!!

SuperMommy
I will usually go to friends houses (not really a "party" but a get together). Nothing wild so it's something I take DD to. As do other parents. But I definately won't be having any drinks this year. I usually do and DH watches DD for me since I take care of her all year long. But since I'm preggo I'll be sticking to Dr. Pepper this year.
elena_398
My family has been invited to a neighbors house for a party. Kids are invited to sleep over so parents can indulge. I don't drink so I think I'll let me husband have some fun and go home with the kids. Neighbor is next door so it won't be long to come home!
