stationchief Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Black Friday is on November 29th this year, the latest possible date.Thank goodness. Um, I mean... yay?
magickallight Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Wow! If Black Friday is THAT late, that means less than a month to shop for Christmas! YIKES!
momof3luvs1 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 So excited that we are half way there! Bummed that it is so late this year, it kinda shortens the season but still cant wait =)

tinkrbel Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Saw this yesterday and thought I'd post a safety reminder. Not only do crazy shoppers kill/injure so do sleepy people. 1
amyers12345 Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Saw this yesterday and thought I'd post a safety reminder. Not only do crazy shoppers kill/injure so do sleepy people. This is my biggest fear with the new hours. There are so many women who have woken up early, spent all day cooking and cleaning, and will try to pull an all nighter when they haven't been up past 10 in years. I'm a night owl and I was too exhausted to trust myself last year, so we skipped the overnight. Thousands of us run a 5K that morning, we had three dinners, and our annual hike to my great grandparents old place. If I was that tired, I didn't trust anyone else that was more so than I! 1
tinkrbel Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 This is my biggest fear with the new hours.I'm thankful I have never had to drive on BF. Aside from the lack of sleep people completely disregard trafic signals here and the city doesn't care enough (or have enough staff?) to "waste" cops time with keeping an eye on busy intersections.I'm really looking forward to hopefully being able to get all my stuff done online this year.
AndreaInNC Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I wish I could have found some true BF washer/dryer prices this past weekend. ugh ..
bpr Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I wish I could have found some true BF washer/dryer prices this past weekend. ugh ..I'm in the market too. I hope I can hold out until BF 2013 (though last year I didn't see to many deals on sets).
2chia Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 You ad hoarders!!!:pI'm excited for Black Friday to get here. Cheers to some potential hot deals!hey, we keep those to make sure we are paying the lowest price. LOL
Brad Posted June 13, 2013 Author Posted June 13, 2013 For anyone interested, I made a simple site with archives of all the BF ad scans I had dating back to 2007 here: http://www.blackfridayarchive.com No item listings, just the scans that you can browse. 2

Kanyon71 Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 That's awesome on my old laptop I actually had many years of the ad's saved from here :)Can't wait for the season to kick in. I love that time of year.
mcwalker Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Black Friday on November 29 means that my birthday (November 30) falls on the Saturday of Thanksgiving/Black Friday weekend this year (and the Sunday next year) -- a coincidence that only comes around once every few years (and is sometimes further disrupted by leap years). I would say that "I can't wait," but I really do enjoy the summer, so it can "hang around" as long as it likes!
tinkrbel Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 what an exciting bday weekend. I can't imagine what that must have been like back in the day of rebate forms
2chia Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 what an exciting bday weekend. I can't imagine what that must have been like back in the day of rebate forms Rebate form , what the heck is that that ?! ( it is like my parents tell me the good old days when cassette tape still works. ) LOL
tinkrbel Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 don't mock cassette tapes.....my mom still swears I'm going to convert some of her old latin music. I should really just get her cd's and a radio with a cd player so she can listen to them and let go of that heavy old box taking up space. An mp3 player would be way too complicated for her.....she can't even find ALL the pictures safely saved in a FOLDER called pictures on the desktop no matter how many time I remind her. new cell phones and dslr's..maybe a baby toy or two on BF list....MUST stop buying blurays!

I picked up a d3100 for $280 last week, they ran a d5100 for $395 a couple of days ago, and a d3200 kit for $405 today.

BB has a good deal on the 60d and with 18mth financing it doesn't hurt just not sure if I want to bite the bullet yet. Looking over discounts last BF they weren't much better except maybe 1 deal with a nice lens than I have now but don't really need that.

There's a spot on the link that says 'save up to $300 with bundle'. The total is $878 + a $400 rebate, leaving the whole set just $478 after rewards and rebate.
tinkrbel Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 (edited) Bit the bullet and then emailed them with order# to ensure they hold off on FULL order before mailing stuff. It's pointless to get printer and then not camera before rebate deadline. Edited June 29, 2013 by tinkrbel
tifflan83 Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I am so excited for Black Friday this year!!!! It falls later and it is on my payday. More money for shopping!!!! 2
