vhalk
There is a sony dvd r and a seagate harddrive that i want from best buy. Some of the rebate on each is for online purchase only. About 70 dollars total for both items. I would advise you go to best buy site and look up your product and it will give you the forms for the product you have in mind. It will tell you what you need to get that rebate. I have taken 2 products off my list now. No best buy for me finished shopping there. to bad that 199 laptop at circuit city ain't going to be so easy.
KhakiBoy
If you purchase your item on Best Buy.com then you use the rebate forms on Best Buy.com. Some of those may say online purchase only, since they are for Best Buy.com. If you buy your product in store then the rebate forms will spit out from the register. And if they don't, just have them give you the rebate instantly. No big deal.
DB_Cooper
BestBuy did not honor a rebate from last year's Black Friday (sent a defective product, exchanged it, then claimed the rebate was no longer valid. Even with all documentation. I would shop anywhere but BB.
MisterBill
Was it a BB rebate or a manufacturer's rebate?

DaleRider
Thankfully, our experience with BB rebates is all positive. Actually, BB rebates tend to come faster and have never had one refused. CompUSA and Fry's, on the other hand, are the pits!!!

KhakiBoy
I've never had a problem with BB rebates (other than me not sending them in time, which is my fault). When I worked there we did have a few customers with issues on rebates, but my store always took care of them and just adjusted the price on their item, giving them an instant rebate. That being said, rebates are a pain. I have all the items I want from BB except 1 in my shopping cart online. It's $470! But I'll be getting $300 in rebates.
