danderson101 Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 If the store will adjust the price on BF for something you bought a few days before, why go to the hassle of getting there early, fighting the crowds, etc, etc?
scarface Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 because alot of stores aren't going to price match the big sale items aka "doorbusters" that people go early for.
Gporter34 Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Because all of the merchandise will not be out before BF. Some items are special package items and they will be brought out BF morning. Also, they will only pm during early bird hours.
danderson101 Posted November 22, 2005 Author Posted November 22, 2005 For the items I bought at Compusa and ODepot- I was told no problem getting the lower price on BF.
erh12275 Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Well at my Walmart they only have a handful of the items available now..most won't be out til that morning.
jelee3 Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Mostly because of the quantity of items available. Also, later in the morning there a lots of high school kids out in my area...and parents with little kids. Try my best to avoid that, as its already crowded early on.
Bestbuy7 Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 If the store will adjust the price on BF for something you bought a few days before, why go to the hassle of getting there early, fighting the crowds, etc, etc?Take this from a BB worker, my store [in NYC] will not do price adjustment..I asked around on Saturday and their response was no. One of my fellow workers said she will be pissed if she has an entire line of people inquiring price adjustments:no: Glad i wont be at work:greenappl

jelee3 Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 There's school on friday? In nyc, kids get off two days.No- what I meant is that the high school kids seem to swarm the malls mid morning- they're not as hard core as us getting there at 5am on their day off. :)
billcsho Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Most deals with rebates on BF are only valid for BF. You may try return and re-buy stratagy, but the customer service will tell you to return it here and go back in line for re-purchase at cashier. :-)
redjacket97 Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 What's Thanksgiving weekend without getting up early on Friday?
saturnboy01 Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 What's Thanksgiving weekend without getting up early on Friday? You going to be sleeping??
