Why get up early and wait in line- lots of items can be bought prior to bf then just return them on bf and get the price difference- much easier and you know for sure you've got the item. Lots of people don't even know about the ads listed on this site- take advantage of the advance info you've got here. I've done this before and I'm doing it again this year.

I did that last year at compusa for an external hard drive- no problem. This year I've already bought a 1 gig sd memory card at CC for $60- and they told me I could return it on bf (price after rebates then is $3). It's not a huge item, but I think they'll probably be gone by 6am on bf.

That particular item- the 1 gig sd memory card is available all day friday and sat- as are many more items that will probably be gone by 6am friday. Nice to know you have it already.

Possible, but I like a line at 4PM a whole lot better than 4AM.

For some items (example- 1 gig sd memory card for $3 after rebates at CC) the easiest thing to do is to go ahead and buy the item now, then return it on bf and get the lower price. The folks at the CC I went to said this was ok. In addition, I had no problem doing this last year at compusa for an external hard drive.

I went ahead and bought a 1 gig sd card yesterday for $60. They told me there was no problem in returning the card (unopened) along w/ receipt some time at my leisure on bf. They'll give me the lower price at that time ($3 after rebates). This way I know I've got one and I don't have to be waiting in line at 4am. I did the same thing last year at compusa for an external hard drive- no problems at all.

I just bought the 1 gig sd @ OD on monday- was told they would give me the lower price on BF.

I was told at OD and compusa they would handle the entire adjustment there at cust. service, including getting a receipt dated 11/25/05.

For the items I bought at Compusa and ODepot- I was told no problem getting the lower price on BF.

If the store will adjust the price on BF for something you bought a few days before, why go to the hassle of getting there early, fighting the crowds, etc, etc?

You usually have a minimum of 14 days to return item and get lower price.

I've already bought items at both OD and Compusa- they both said they would give me the lower price on BF.
