If you wrap early, how do you store it all?

I want to start wrapping early but I won't have room to store it all and I don't want the bows crushed. I use real ribbon and like pretty packages. I thought about storing them in the attic but I'm scared they will have that attic smell. Lol!

i also leave bows off until right before the presents are put under the tree. otherwise i hide things in suitcases. also, the big rubbermaid tote that holds all of our christmas decorations. =)

I don't use bows on most of our gifts. I used to but when my boys were little I quit and just never got back into the habit of it.

I have a TV box that I put alot of my gifts in. It is plenty big enough that I can usually stand them in there neatly. Also, once our tree goes up, we put all but the kids "Santa" gift under the tree. Sadly, only one of mine still believe in Santa, but the 2 older ones play along anyway.

For our Grandbabies I buy each thier own wrapping paper and no names needed ....the older ones I wrap and "store" in all the Amazon boxes I get so they have no clue the gifts inside are wrapped and ready...works great !

I leave bows off until they go under the tree. Some I don't even put bows on. I have actually wrapped several presents this week already and I got them in my bedroom closet.

I wrap all mine as I get them and put them in my basement closet or in the crawl space, I dont put the bows on til I put them under the tree. ONly other thing you could do is get plastic totes and put the clothes or stuffed toys in or any other things you dont want to smell, that should work.

Pull your christmas decorations out of the rubbermaid totes & fill them with the presents, hide it in luggage in your closet, wrap them & if they can get cold (just not electronics) put them in a large black trash bag & move it behind stuff in the garage, put the presents inside quilts etc in the closet..the possibilities are endless.

I don't have young ones anymore so I buy, wrap, and put under tree. My kids (especially my picky daughter) has to approve the clothes I do buy for christmas. lol. I don't mind. This way I know I won't be in the return line at the mall. She's happy... Im happy.

I agree put in totes--one more added precaution would be to add 1/2 of dryer sheet in each tote. I've done that. Can't be too careful, I mean if you want to truly surprise someone, don't hide the gifts where they may get to them....put them in the attic with the totes.

This is a great idea. Dryer sheet and totes. I'll test it out this week. Thanks so much. :)

I put the gifts out in the travel trailer. That way I sit out there at the table, wrap and bow them and lay them out on the bed. Then lock the door and hide the key from the kid! :)

wow.i never started wrapping this early.. and i thought i start early.

but i put them in suitcases and have a closet i keep empty boxes in..

they dont seem like a hiding place when everyone sees them in the back of the closet all year round

This thread has inspired me to start wrapping early. I usually wait til the last few days before and end up rushing and not enjoying myself. I like the hiding place ideas. I have 2 small children so no presents will be put out until Christmas eve.

Sure, my kids are nebby... and I have a small "crawl" around attic, can't even stand up...I use dryer sheets for many things (except for clothes, they are bad for skin allergies) LOL
