mabennett
is this through amazon?
peppysfireball
No , it's cowboom and it's a preowned kindle that may have scuffs or scratches. IT says 199 retail , which is incorrect since amazon dropped the price to 150 and upgraded the fire. IT is not a good deal in my opinion . It lists the condition as a 6. is this through amazon? mom2monkiesx3
This is the older FIRST generation model, I think I agree with PP I'd go NEW through Amazon and have your no questions asked warranty The new Kindle Fire Amazon has for $159 is FASTER and has MORE STORAGE then the first generation above. And if you keep an eye on Amazon they've been offering both new and refurbished FIRST GENERATIONS for even cheaper (refurbs come with same warranty as new ones) Here is the link, just check it often http://www.amazon.com/sale-deals-Kindle-Fire-refurbished/dp/B007TMXVIA/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1351525072&sr=1-1&keywords=refurbished+fire

jabsther
I looked into Cowboom before. They sell used items from Best Buy. The reviews were less than good for me to jump the gun and buy something from. Others might have no problem with what they buy from them, I 'm just not taking the chance. angleyez423
Do you know about how much they have been selling for refurbished?Refurbished...When I got mine it was a gold box deal of the day for $139. They had that deal at least twice. I bought one each time. They were $169 regular for refurbished. That's when it was still $199. (its the model that dropped to $159). The first sale was first week of March I think and then again before mothers day.
