My next question is: How well do they start selling Christmas items this early? Are they big sales? Just don't see anybody in that area of the store, just thinking that they could use the space better for other items to sell for a few more weeks. Probably the day after Halloween.

I looked into Cowboom before. They sell used items from Best Buy. The reviews were less than good for me to jump the gun and buy something from. Others might have no problem with what they buy from them, I 'm just not taking the chance.

I bought the lifetime subscription of Tivo when I bought my Tivo/Directv rec. I have called them since and found out that my house, not the box is lifetime. I was informed that I can add as meny Directv/Tivo boxes as I want in my house without any additional payments for Tivo, just the $5 per receiver if it has Tivo or not like everyone else does. Just some info to look into for others.

I have taken some college classes and if he can get the TI-89 instead, it will pay off in the long run over the TI-84. Other people that I knew who bought the TI-84 wish they bought the TI-89 instead.

The origional DS was larger and the DS lite is a little smaller and brighter screen. They both play the same, and use the same games. My daughter has the DS from 3 years ago with no problems still, including the origional battery. I have not seen the larger DS sold, except for the refirb ones for a long time now (probably 1-1/2 years.) But both were the same price when sold. And most of the assecories sold now are for the DS lite.
