lindabacker
Ok I really want to do CC instead of BB for the laptop, however if they are not doing tickets like BB is, I will go to BB, since I do not want to deal with a free for all after standing in line for 5 hours. Graveytrain12
Yeah, they have a ticket system. That's how it was when I went last year. They started handing them out around 5 or so when they opened at 6am.
disneytati
Cool. I am seriously thinking about going to CC, they have another emachines that seems better than BB, and the mini DV camcorder is cheaper. Just gotta think about the laptop, then. SuperMommy
I would call your local CC and ask. Because Graveytrain12 said they did. But they have never done that at my CC and that's always our first stop. So, like I said I would call and ask b/c it seems there are different procedures for different areas. saturnboy01
I hope our BB uses the ticket system. Could NOT get a str8 answer from Customer Service if their location was using the ticket system or not!?

pnlcooper
I just spoke with my local circuit city here in Orlando, and they will not be using ticket system, that it will be fist some first serve, they did say they could not be 100% positive but they did think all doorbusters would be available online. rajat2k2k
Is the ticket system means you can buy that item anytime whole day and that item will be available or will be ordered for you? I was thinking of standing in line and getting the ticket at BB and after getting the ticket goto other stores and come back to BB later in the day. Is it possible?? Marcster
I've never shopped BB..how does this ticket thing work? This is the way it's suppose to work (use the forum's search feature to find out how it has gone wrong at some stores): Customers arrive early and stand in line. Employees come out with "tickets" usually colored pieces of paper (different ones for each high-demand low-stock item). The employees walk through the line, asking each person which of the "ticketed items" they want to purchase. This continues until the tickets are all gone. No ticket for the ticketed item you want = no item for you. Get there early to get the best spot in line. From what I'm reading, BB's customer start arriving at Midnight. CC's is probably the same. 89MustangGX
I stopped by my local CC to scope it out a little and I asked what they were doing. I couldn't get a straight answer about what they are going to do, but they did tell me they handed out vouchers last year for the hot items. This is in Lynnwood, WA.
