stationchief Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Does anyone know where you can buy the games for N64?? I know its antique but please dont laugh. My kids still enjoy it.:) Sorry, couldn't resist. I don't think Goodwill is having a BF sale. However, I always get classic videogame systems and cartridges at thrift shops like Goodwill or at Desseret Industries. Pawn shops or even used bookstores that carry used cds/dvds/games are a good place as well.
Rebirth Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Try the Deal Finder Service New Thread. EBGames and Gamestop might have some, and try their sites.
amydarlin28 Posted November 18, 2005 Author Posted November 18, 2005 Yes, I have bought a few from ebay and they work great. Just didnt know if there was a store that sold older game system games. Thanks for the reply:) Sometimes they charge a lot for S/H
chrisb482 Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Head over to Gamestop or EBGames. Everyone of those stores I've been to has had N64 games. I think they only have used games though, but should be able to pick up a lot for cheap.
best4less Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Ebay, Gamestop or EB Games- I have seen N64 games at all 3 :)
laffnatu Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Does anyone know where you can buy the games for N64?? I know its antique but please dont laugh. My kids still enjoy it.:)My son still plays the 64 even though he has a gamecube. He goes to my mom's house and plays Super Nintendo.
VonnegutFan Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 I actually found that EBGames and GameStop has really expensive N64 titles. I love classic gaming and I always try to collect games that are widely recognized as the "best" for each classic system... I get most of my games on eBay. It is truly a great resource!
skytrain Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 check eb games. If you go there website and seach preplayed there is a spot on the website that tells you what store to get it at. Don't feel bad I am still buying gamboy games not gameboy color or gameboy sp games.
AndreaInNC Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Don't laugh, we still play our N64 .. we love the original Mario Party !
Kandy Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 gamestop and eb electronics . I've seen them in stores and online
saturnboy01 Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Pawn Shops would more likely be your best bet and maybe cheapest!
justbarbour Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Amazon.com is a good place. Even if they don't have the game in stock their marketplace sellers will usually have it - often for a pretty good price. And you shouldn't be embarassed about it at all - I think Perfect Dark is one of my favorite games of all time.
starshine Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 My son plays his every night. I have gotten them at EBgames both in store and online very cheap and some from ebay and Half.com
huseboy Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 the new nintendo system coming out, will it play these games? what will you have buy extra, if any? Thx
Vickis3js Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 You can also try a local video rental place. They sometimes have some for sale. I just hit a local one here and got PS1 games really cheap since they are no longer going to be renting them. If not ebgames has them I was just there a few days ago and I saw them there not sure of the price though since we don't have one. HTH Vicki
fairydustcrissy Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 The prices at EB and Gamestop are based on the availability of the game. The really good games dont get traded in thast often, so you may see them as high as $24.99. Most of them are not that high, but expect the *great* ones to be. If it is a really popular game, you might be better off on ebay. Otherwise, hit EB or Gamestop. And dont be embarressed. I still ply my N64. And to whoever asked about playing these on the new system, no way. It will not take the carts. BUT...they are planning to have Nintendo titles from previous systems downloadable. Dont know if or how much it will cost.
justbarbour Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 The 64 is a cartridge system, and the next Nintendo game will be a disc system - so the 64 games won't be able to be played on the Revolution, or whatever it's going to be called.
