First of all this site is awesome, I accidently came across it and am forever thankful.

I never have shopped on BF, but after seeing how much I can save I think I will.

I really want to take advantage of the laptop deals. I am leaning towards BB if the Walmart being 488 is true. The closest Best Buy is about 30 minutes away so I want to make only 1 trip in the early hours.

I called them and they said people generally line up 1-2 hours before they open and that there is no need for me to get there at 12am. I really don't want to either because I usually am really tired after a Thanksgiving meal. If I have to get there at 12am I will probably be pulling an all-nighter and I don't know if I can hang.

I really need a laptop, I am moving to Phoenix in Jan. to attend ASU.

I live in Orange County and the Best Buy right off a main freeway. Another thing, if I logged onto their website at whatever time they update would I be better off or worse?

I think I'd have a better shot at Wal-Mart (area is full with a lot of upperclass people, I don't see them waking up at 4am to get a sale) and would hate to miss out at BB and screwing myself by not getting to Wal-Mart.

I think trying to snag one online will be worse. I would get to bestbuy by 1am to get a laptop. You can always hang out in your car if you're the only one there with the heater on. ;)

I live in Orange County and at the 2 Best Buys I've gone to in the past 9 years the time to be one of the first 50 in line has moved up about an hour each year. I started getting there at 4:00, last year midnight (was about 15th). You can get there when the manager said, but you won't even find a place to park. You should plan on getting there by 11:00. Good Luck!
