angleyez423 Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Wondering what everyone's girls are asking for this year?
Elmck Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 My DD is 8. I think because she watches very little TV she has not asked for some of the more popular toys. She wants a Wii, a DS, Liv Dolls, Password Journal, a pottery wheel, Barbie fashion design tote, boots, tie dye (to make), horse figures, More Barbies and Barbie clothes, a Barbie washer and dryer set, smaller pillow pets, a new chair or bean bag, and a ton of other stuff (she made a huge list after visiting TRU and Target) She is not getting everything on her list, but I know she will be happy with her Wii and because my boss bought new computers for the business I was able to get her a used desktop ( had to buy new monitor and speakers). I need to buy the desk for it and it will be ready to set up.
fluffkin79 Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Monster High. My DD8 and her 9-year-old friends are obsessed with Monster High. She also wants a laptop, iPhone, iPad, and iPod - basically she wants unrestricted internet access, which isn't gonna happen.
pogiporkchop Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Mine is currently into Pokemon. Just got another iPod for family use too so she and her brother don't fight over the one we had, but I set a firm rule after getting it: if you fight over who gets to use which one neither of you will use either of them!
tinkrbel Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 barbie has a washer dryer set now?.....wow :)

HomeinKS Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 My 8yo daughter wants a diary with a lock and key. I'm not sure what else to get her. She says she wants a Baby Alive, but I think that is because a friend got one for her birthday last month; she is more of a plushie girl than a doll girl. She'd like an ipad, that is not happening. She also likes books. She just got light up skechers for her birthday and loves them.
amyers12345 Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Mine wants a cell phone and a laptop (she's 7). She said if she can't have that, she wants all Polly Pockets and DS games.
peppysfireball Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 5 and 7 year old both getting monster high dolls, monster high camcorder, monster high clothes. THey are my grandkkids, but their dad is buying it all too. THey also want jewelry and the youngest wants a diary with a lock like I bought her sister last year.
Scanner420 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 My DD 9- So far, got a Karaoke Machine, 8' Soccer Net, New Soccer Ball, Tattoo Set, Snowboard, Simon Flash and a Microscope w/ extra slides. She wants an IPod touch, A Laptop, & A Phone, but she's nowhere near ready to handle the responsibility. A friend gave her an old Iphone that didn't have the phone hooked up to it, but she could still use it as an IPod touch. She lost it in three weeks. I found it under her bed after cleaning her room, gave it back and she lost it again a week later.
fluffkin79 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 The jewlery box and pillow pet DD8 got last year are still getting constant use. DD6 will be getting a jelwery/trinket box this year.

angleyez423 Posted November 29, 2011 Author Posted November 29, 2011 I have 3 nieces all this age that just asked for DS games in general. What DS games are your girls asking for specifically? I hope this is not thread jacking. If so sorry op. The purpose of me starting this thread was to get additional gift ideas for my step daughter not knowing what she's really into right now besides some toys. No worries about hopping in. As for her DS she asked for Tangled and My Little Pony (which I told her no to MLP reviews show it's too young for her, she just said ok that's fine then). She also asked for Pokemon White. No idea where that came from. I got her 2 Hannah Montana for $10 total and I'm looking at the different Littlest Pet Shop ones since she loves her LPS and has none of their games. She likes singing games on Wii and PS too. Her cousin a year younger asked for Squinkies 2 which was hard to find but Walmart online has it on roll back for $20. And her little sister asked for pillow pets DS game. We got her icarly for her birthday and she loves her club penguin game.
jade2002 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Monster High dolls and everything else Monster High Justin Bieber stuff Justin Bieber perfume Just Dance 3 She tells me last night that she wants and Ipod touch so that she can take it to school. I told her that she wouldn't be taking it to school so she say's nevermind then. Besides her brother has one that she uses at home.
Chewbybell Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 My dd who is 8, will be 9 in January has asked for Smurf megabloks, a barbie art teacher set, DS games (Scooby Doo Spooky Swamp and Smurfs were her top two choices), clothes, a barbie cleaning set (has a barbie vacuum, duster, etc, really pretty cute), squinkies, a messenger bag, etc. The DS games that my girls really like are the Scooby Doo ones, LPS ones, Lovely Lisa, Cooking Mama, and Zhu Zhus.

persse3 Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Glad to see my 8 year old isn't the only one asking for a laptop and phone, lol. Those are the two things she wants the most. Her list is like 3 pages. She loves to draw so she wants drawing stuff, a new easel. Monster High and Justin Beieber, make up, perfume, Orbizz, new jewelery box, stuff for playing school.
lakj98 Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 My DD is 8. I keep asking her what she wants and she can not really think of anything. Sometimes when she sees a commercail on tv she will say "I want that" but with most things I think she is just saying it to give me some ideas, but not truly something she wants. I am getting her a new ipod touch cause the one she has is 1st generation and for some reason the sound is not longer working. I also bought her another American girl doll. Both of my boys have asked for G shock watches so I will probably get her one of those too. Other than that I am not sure what else I am going to get her. Going shopping tomorrow so hopefully I will find something.
Silverstreak24 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 My niece who is 9 is all about those Monster High Dolls and also wants an easel (which I've gotten her) as well as leggings, a laptop and Just Dance 3. :)
